I recently had pneumonia and was very pleased that I chose to have follow up with Dr. Whitmore. He was very professional and reviewed my xrays in detail with me, explained my condition and potential issues that I may have to consider, and was very thorough and pleasant. Couldn't be more pleased with him and his office staff.

Dr. Whitmore is attentive and pleasant and does not rush through the appointment time. He is very calm which engenders the same in the patient. Most importantly, he listens and unlike some doctors I see, he has made himself familiar with my entire case history some of which may affect the symptoms for which I am under his care. I trust his decisions concerning my health care and find Rachel, his nurse, and staff members, Cheryl and Molly to be a very special people.

dr whitmore has bewn our mother's pulmonologist for over 10 years and he has helped to extend both the quality and length of her life! he is knowledgable and compassionate and goes above and beyond. the other drs. in the office do, too. the unfortunate truth, however, is that trinity health -- which bought holy cross a few years ago -- is a horribly mismanaged company and everthing administrative is a mess as a result. if you read the negative reviews, you'll see they mostly complain of mismanagement. it's a tragedy, because my mother could not receive better care than her holy cross drs. give her!!

I was referred to Dr. Whitmore by my rheumatologist. Dr. Whitmore listened attentively to my problem, asked questions, gave me answers, and explained his plan to make me well again. He has a great sense of humor, which put me at ease immediately. I wish I had seen him earlier, as it would have saved me both time and money. I would highly recommend Dr. Whitmore!

Please DO NOT go see this Dr. I have never met a Dr with such an aggressive bedside manner as Dr. Whitmore. He is very hostile when asked questions and refuses to return calls or talk to authorized family members. I will never go back. I hope this review helps other potential patients from making the same mistake I did.
