Admitted to hospital second time after his surgery
After gall bladder surgery, sent us home with sepsis - which is serious!! Admitted to hospital again with infectious disease. …. When mentioned this to him, he said it only happens to 10% patients. BEWARE if you happen to fall in the 10%! He has no follow up care or concern about you once gall bladder sx is over and he files insurance. You are on your own! Zero bedside manner or compassion! Lots of other great docs out there!

Very professional environment and all office staff very helpful. Very impressed with Dr. Wolf especially. He was recommended to me when another Dr. recommended interferon for the rest of my life and i asked for other alternatives. My ulcerative colitis and has been kept it in check for several years without flare ups. Thank you Dr. Wolf.

Dr Wolf took up a lot of time helping me understand my long term preventative care for pancreatitis. He told me what to stay away from and what could help me stay healthy. He went over my hospital stay records and ordered some blood test as a follow up with plans to monitor until back to normal.

This doctor should follow his passion for research and not deal with patients. His lack of communication skills is only exceeded by his dismissiveness when asked questions. He barely remembers who you are and what medical cal protocols he has prescribed for you. Run, don’t walk to find a true healer.

Husband saw him for his severe Crohn's, as Dr. Wolf is so knowledgeable and has such impressive credentials. Unfortunately, however, his knowledge does nothing to make up for his lack of timeliness and abysmal bedside manner. Once we've waited a minimum of 30 minutes to see him, he doesn't seem to look at his chart because he asks what my husband's diagnosis is every visit, and spends the majority of his time talking about his medical history/past medications like he's a brand new patient. He frequently interrupts and speaks over him, doesn't seem to listen to any concerns, and slaps on a new prescription or test before my husband can finish his sentence. One time during a visit, my husband pointed out that he kept interrupting him, and to that Dr. Wolf said nothing and walked out of the room. His one saving grace is his assistant, Stephanie, who is thorough, kind, and helpful. Now on the hunt for a new physician as this one has wasted nearly 2 years with no improvement of health.

After 5 years and 20 surgeries, Dr. Wolf and team aggressively diagnosed and came up with a treatment plan that, in spite of [national health insurance company name censored] worked! He is kind, compassionate and very well versed in the language of the patient. I highly recommend him for any GI concern.

Dr. Wolf has been very helpful in working with me to manage my Crohn's Disease. He has taken what I think is an aggressive approach to my disease and flexible in trying another approach when one isn't working. He also explains his reasons for treatment plans. He may be a little hard to get to see and there have been two instances when I have had to reschedule a routine office visit out 4 to 6 weeks to meet his scheduling needs, but I feel his knowledge and expertise is worth the wait.

I was referred to Dr. Wolf by my internist as I was experiencing ongoing issues related to UC that have been very difficult to manage. Dr. Wolf was very attentive and proactive placing me on a medication regimen that has been very effective. He is extremely professional and caring, and offers an open line of communication. I have been very pleased with the service I have received by Dr. Wolf and his support staff and I highly recommend him to others as a provider of excellence. LDC in SS, GA

I started seeing Dr. Wolf a few years ago after relocating to Atlanta from N.Y. My previous Gastroenterologist, Dr. Daniel Present at Mt. Sinai Hosp. in NYC recommended Dr. Wolf. He said that Dr. Wolf is the most recognized Crohn's physician in Atlanta and has participated in clinical research as well as having published on IBD. I was sad to leave Dr. Present since he was phenomenally research-oriented (a leader in the field), however Dr. Wolf has been excellent and meets the same standand.

Dr. Wolf is a tremendous physician, focused on research and providing excellent care to his patients. While the wait can be long, it's worth it. I spent a year of hell with a doctor who tried a buffet table of medicines and treatments for me that never worked and at times worsened my symptoms. The only good thing he did was to refer me to Wolf, who immediately put me on remicade and sent me into remission. He treated me for around 10 years (until my insurance changed).

Dr. Wolf is a great doctor. However, the office staff are negligent and incompetent. Dr. Wolf decided on Entyvio as a treatment for severe inflammation of the colon due to my Crohn's. It took four months for the office to get my first infusion. Unless they completely restructured their organization recently, it advises to avoid all AGA doctors. Dr. Wolf should leave the AGA organization.

Dr. Wolf has been extraordinarily kind and caring about my wife's Crohn's disease and treatment. He's very responsive if she needs to get in touch with him and he has even on occasion offered to pay for her medication when the copay is high. It's nice to see such a brilliant physician with such compassion. His wife, Christine, is really great too. I feel like my wife really is in the hands of the best.
