My aortic valve replacement was October 12, 2019 and I am here and I credit it all to Dr. Zusman. He took the time on the Sunday one week before my surgery and walked my wife and me through the procedure and what would be happening, though there were complications when he got in there and I am here, I will be celebrating my 83rd Birthday in a few weeks and I thank you Dr. Zusman for taking your time to giving me a longer life. Dr. Zusman performed a quadruple by-pass on me nine years ago to this date and I am here to attest what an excellent surgeon, doctor, but most of all person he is. His professionalism is bettered only by his true caring of the patient and their eventual recovery. Others could have performed this operation but I was lucky enough to have had Dr. Zusman provide me with a quality of life I might never have known. Mike Zimmerman in Bradenton, FL - January 10, 2019

A pompous man who feels he is above others because he is a doctor, not service oriented. I spoke to him and he was terse and arrogant. Later, he did not do what he promised he would do (submit a work order for a time sensitive test) and when I followed up he had his staff blow me off with no explanation. He is providing a service which he gets paid for, not doing the world a favor. He should go do research instead of working with patients if he cannot learn how to treat people.

Saved my life in May 2010. Took the chance to perform quadruple by-pass when all test showed no hope for my recovery from a cardiac arrest in a parking lot in Irvine 3 days earlier. Pat Hobert, Hobert Wealth Management, Newport Beach.

Dr. Zusman is one of the most over qualified internists you could ever meet. He is the truest form of a “doctor”, the kind we all wish we had our entire lives. Number #1 quality, he cares about your concerns and listens, he is extremely intelligent and his knowledge and experience from being a top leading surgeon is a remarkable asset. This doctor always goes the extra mile and his on going follow up care makes you feel as if you are his only patient. Dr. Zusman is the very best ever!!!!!
