Immense thanks to a superb doctor.
My son had three blood clots and was operated on by Dr. Cameron with attending physician, P.J.Spenser. He suffered a cardiac arrest while undergoing sedation and was out for ten minutes. But Dr. Cameron and his staff were ready and got him back, performed the surgery and kept him alive. Though immobile from the lack of oxygen, he has recovered quite remarkably with good mental capacities, use of his upper body with some myoclonus but mostly under control. He most likely will never walk again, but we are hopeful, but he is alive thanks to incredible work done at MGH. Our family is forever grateful for his expertise and kindness. He was and is the best in our estimation. Thanks, Dr.

He has God’s hands guiding him
Dr. Cameron operated on me many years ago for mitral valve repair. It was supposed to be an in and out surgery because I was young and in relatively good health. The bottom fell out in the OR and it is because of Dr. Cameron that I am alive today 20 plus years later. He saved my life and I will always be grateful. If you are unfortunate to need open heart surgery, Dr Cameron is the go to surgeon.

Dr. Cameron is wonderful. In 2013, he performed my third open heart surgery to replace a prosthetic St.Jude aortic valve. This was a very risky surgery. Dr. Cameron was able to debride (clean) the valve instead of replacing it. He is a kind and compassionate man as well as an excellent surgeon.

Cross-country referral for surgical repair of a rare congenital defect. Not only was Dr Cameron thorough and professional, he leads a team of top-notch care givers. The level of care I received was absolutely superior in every way and my recovery quick and uneventful.

Dr. Cameron performed an ascending to descending aortic bypass on me in 2018. Ever since I met him, I knew I was in good hands. He is very caring and gentle with his patients. He listen attentively and explains everything in a calm and friendly manner. You can tell that this person cares deeply about people and is passionate about helping them. With that kind of treatment, my anxiety wasn’t as bad before the surgery, because I knew I could trust him fully. I am eternally grateful to you doctor for everything you did.

Dr. Cameron is a truly outstanding individual. He is one of the most driven people I have ever met. You can tell that his knowledge and abilities propel him to work and save as many lives as he can. I know this because he saved my life after performing open heart surgery on me for a congenital defect. It is a complicated surgery in an already highly complicated field. Dr. Cameron gave me his personal cell phone number and we spoke both before and after my surgery. My family and I will forever be grateful too him. Just looking at his picture brings up feelings of intense gratitude. Dr. Cameron is a true hero.

Dr. Cameron is one of a kind. He is an incredibly amazing doctor who is very attentive to his patients. He made sure to explain what he planned to do before my surgery and that I understood everything. The nurses told me that I had "the best" and I believe that I did! Facing open heart surgery is a terrifying thought, but I actually felt safe with Dr. Cameron and here I am 10 years later!

It is obvious Dr. Cameron loves what he does and shows such compassion to his patients. I have never met a more trusting, knowledgeable, yet humble physician. He takes his time when consulting with patients, explains minute details, and does not rush to perform surgery. This is our second time seeing Dr. Cameron regarding our daughters heart issues(she has Marfan Syndrome) and he is still advising us to wait a few more months, pray for a miracle (he has seen them firsthand) and sit tight.
