Outstanding Eye Surgeon
After consulting with several eye doctors over cataract and vision issues I visited Desert Eye and Laser and met Dr. Le. He was the most competent doctor I had seen and I felt very comfortable selecting him to do my cataract surgeries.

Thoroughly impressed by this doctor. In addition to going to him for my cataracts, he found that I have another eye problem that I was not aware of that no other doctor had ever found. It is not serious now, but needs to watch. I am grateful that he found it.

Dr. Le is very attentive and professional. He listens to the patient, assesses your condition and recommends a step forward. Follow-up is extremely good and timely. In my case (cataract surgery, both eyes) the operation and recovery path played out precisely as Dr. Le had forecast. In addition, his staff are all well-trained and professional. I could not be happier!

I have been fortunate to have found Dr Le after arriving in the Desert about 12 years age. In Philadelphia I used an Opthalmologist from the Philadelphia College of Opthalmology. I have never met better than De Le. He is professional, obviously knowledgeable and meticulous in his approach to the eye (good idea). I had some problems from previous surgery and he addressed it directly. He removed my cataracts and I know have the best vision of my life. The enhanced color and clarity are breathtaking. I'm very grateful.

I have read all of the reviews here and honestly can't imagine anything negative. I have been going to Dr. Le for a number of years. He has always made me feel like I was the most important patient of the day! He answers all questions I have fully to my satisfaction. Dr Le has performed two cataract surgeries on me, the last in December, 2019. My eyesight is better today than anytime in the last 55 years! I should have had the cataract surgery long ago. I procrastinated. Lastly, the staff has always treated me perfectly. They are well trained and have everything ready for Dr. Le's examination. I have made many recommendations to friends and family and all have had the same experience as I.

I recently saw Dr. Le as I was experiencing an issue where I was closing one eye in order to be able to read. He did not check to see if there was an issue with my current prescription or if my condition could be corrected with a new prescription. His only suggestion was for cataract surgery Toric lenses. I told him that I would not be ready for a couple of months but he was quick to book an appointment for the following Monday. I did not keep the appointment but made an appointment with another ophthalmologist who said that I did not need cataract surgery at all. He suggested that I get glasses with a prism lens. For the first time in several years I can read with both eyes open and it is just wonderful. Dr. Le was only out for making the big bucks with unnecessary surgery.

i do not know who is leaving these positive reviews, but it is not patients of Dr. Le. The staff is fat from friendly, in fact, the back office help acts like she is falling asleep, or she really is. She is just so bored and can’t even look you in the eye or acknowledge you by name, yawn. She is able to put eye drops in and give an eye exam while not looking at or acknowledging you. Le is clearly after making a buck. He barely sees you for a minute. He has inexperienced high school educated, at most, idiots doing everything. The entire, separately billed refraction is done by a cant be bothered idiot, then she hands him the rx and he scribbles on it. The machines are not cleaned between patients. The too bored sniffling snot won’t even wipe it with an alcohol wipe if you ask her to. There are plenty of other MDs in the valley that are honest and don’t manufacture fake reviews. Save yourself the time and stay away from this money hungry machine.

Dr Le is an exemplary doctor. He takes time to explain everything and then when the big day arrives, everything goes smoothly, comfortably, and successfully. His visit the following day confirmed that all was doing very well, and there are several check ups to monitor progress. The second eye was done and is now healing. I could not be more pleased. My vision has not been this clear and good for a very very long time. Thank you for my vision.

The entire process was laid out in an efficient manner. I knew what I needed to do and when. No pain, no discomfort, streamlined process and BEST of all my sight is so much better that I no longer need my tri-focals. I only need a drug store reader. Amazed and appreciative for the excellent care, Thank you Dr. Le.

Dr. Le was amazing. He took his time with me. He was patient, and explained everything. The surgery on my cataracts for both eyes went without a hitch. I see beautifully now without any glasses. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, courteous, warm, caring and kind ophthalmologist. I could not recommend him any more highly!

WOW - I woke up in bed and I could see – WITHOUT glasses for the first time in 60 years! My cataracts had gotten so bad I was blind in 1 eye and bad in the other. Dr. Hal Le was very professional and patient - answering all my questions and I felt at ease with him. He took care of both eyes and everything was very easy and painless. I could not be any happier. He has a wonderful office staff as well – very polite and courteous. I would highly recommend Dr. Le to anyone needed eye surgery.

My husband and I have been paintents of Dr. Le for a couple of years and we have finally realized he is only out to make money. He tries to have you make unnecessary appointments that are not covered by our insurance. We have received bills that are not covered by our insurance and we were never advised of the possiblity that it may not be covered. He doesn't give you professional care.

Dr. Le has taken care of me for several years. I have received excellent care at all times. He performed my cataract surgery in 2007 when he was with another clinic. When I found he opened his own practice, I immediately changed over. He is personable, professional and courteous at all times. His staff is also friendly and professional.
