Failed trigger finger surgery, does not listen to patient concerns and felt I was brushed off. Having redone by orthopedic surgeon next week.

I have had breast implants since breast cancer in 1980. No one ever tells you that you will have to replace them about every 10 years. But this last time that I needed this done, my PCP recommended this doctor. I was very pleased with him, his staff, his clean office and the results of my surgery. My experience with Dr. Dustin Christiansen was wonderful: one of the best medical treatments I ever had and I've had a bunch. This one involved a "trigger finger" symptom on my right thumb (upper joint) and an extremely sore lower joint on the same thumb. I could not open a jar, squeeze a tube of toothpaste, or pinch and lift a piece of paper off a flat surface. Dr. Dustin Christiansen examined the thumb and explained what was causing my pain and answered my questions very thoroughly. He next administered a local anesthetic followed by 2 steroid injections and sent me on my way. Two days later, I was pain-free and could not believe the difference in the thumb! It's a miracle in my health care history and I am very grateful to Dr. Dustin Christiansen.

I had bilateral carpal tunnel surgery five weeks ago. Dr. Christiansen was outstanding all the way through the process. He was compassionate, listened well to my needs, and responded immediately. He explained my surgery and what to expect the day of surgery and after. Within two days my carpal tunnel symptoms were gone, I had full use of my hands and I only had post-surgery issues to deal with. All of those issues had been well explained, so no surprises. Now five weeks later I have complete satisfaction with my surgery.

My son recently suffered from a traumatic injury to his finger which cut to the bone. We were fortunate enough to be able to see Dr. Dustin Christiansen at Neaman Plastic Surgery to have it repaired in a way that would facilitate the best healing of his finger and fingernail bed. Dr. Christiansen's serious attention to detail while maintaining the feeling of calm and even helpful lightheartedness was a comfort to our son during the procedure. While the injury is still in the later processes of healing, we are very confident that this treatment was the best option for an optimal outcome in preserving the nail. We express our utmost thanks for Dr. Christiansens' time and talents in hand surgery and repair!

Arrogant, doesn't listen, dismissive. Has the typical doctor ego thinking only his opinion matters.

Dr. Christiansen is a competent and compassionate surgeon, encouraging me throughout the process of correcting my aggressive Dupuytren's disease. Having seen many other people's surgical outcomes for Dupuytren's, I must say Dr. Christiansen's skill and approach to this surgery surpassed my expectations. I have recommended him and Neaman Plastic Surgery on the Facebook Dupuytren's group with approximately 2000 members, posting photos and videos of my excellent results.

Unlikely to recommend, even though he did a good job on the procedure. Seemed unsympathetic to pain, is only in office two days a week, so was unavailable when problems arose.
