Dr. Dustin Ray, MD

I have called on several Dr Rays office on several occasions before my surgery and no awnser. When I brought this to his attention he was on the defense instead of rectifying the problem. The guy in the office who suppose to be the office manager is very short with me and told me to just email the proof to him like he was angry, which I see no need to communicate with him at all anymore. I had Surgery on July 18 2024, and called to let Dr Ray know that the medicin was not helping with the surgery pain. The guy in the office with his inconsiderate self not 1 time asked me how are you feeling after Surgery? Again this guy is very short and rude in his conversations to me. I like Dr Ray but will most likely be finding me another Dr due to the staff who is definitely a reflection of Dr Ray. I will not have any dealings with this office Manager and hope that if anyone choose to use this surgeon you have to have tough skin for this office manager rudeness. I have no patience for him.

My husband had trigger thumb surgery in June 2020, and have had multiple issues since. First, the Dr. Ray did not put enough stitches in to close up the incision correctly. So during the week after surgery, the incision did not close properly. Furthermore, part of the badge got stuck in sutures, and when my husband returned to get the sutures removed, the bandage pulled on the sutures, causing a further gape where the incision was. In fact, it was a small hole that would not close up. After weekly visits to the doctor, with antibiotic ointment and oral medication, the doctor finally stitched up opening in August. It is not mid September, and his thumb is still not the same. In fact, its still hurting him, and he thinks he tore something. In the mentime, Dr. Ray has moved to open his own practice in Texas, leaving us with a referral to another hand doctor. Needless to say, we are NOT happy and are looking into legal action.

I made an appointment with MISI Associates to see Dr. Dustin Ray and explained my circumstances. Hand sagittal band repair surgery last fall due to falling down an unsafe flight of stairs and am not happy with my recovery. I clearly stated there was an ongoing claim with the location where I fell and I wanted a second opinion on my progress. Got to the clinic paid $50 and then they refused to see me.
