Emergency surgery following a fall .
I was glad to have experienced my first broken bone and tendon repair with Dr. Braunlich. He was to the point yet sincere. I was in the hospital for 4 days and learned how to manage on my own but was gonna need help the next 28 months yes that is how long he said my injury would take and then it depended on me….. I was in good hands and would recommend him to most who can be responsible and follow direction.

Told me to shut up (in so many words) Did several scopes with no positive results. Had to go to ER on a Saturday after a Thursday scope and he told me he wished I hadn't done that, was in so much pain it was awful. Kept telling me my knee was not that bad and would heal. Did not take Xrays after first scope and did not order MRI..Went to WVU Joint Center and the Doctor first thing after an Xray said my knee was in terrible condition, he replaced it and haven't had a problem since. Braunlich is rude and thinks he knows it all.

He replaced both of my knees, professional and straight forward. Just called to make an appointment for my rotator. Staff has treated me great and with respect. I can not recommend another doctor higher than i do Braunlich.

Definitely not in a hurry to schedule and then view an MRI for a 15-year-old boy who is patiently waiting to see what he needs to do in order to return to playing baseball. The office staff is not in a hurry either, nor are they very friendly. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED! Once again, we have to leave the valley to see someone who specializes in Pediatrics.

Dr. Braunlich will be recommended to anybody I care about! He's very professional and he cares about his patients, after my surgery was complete he called out and explained how things went with my husband, in the recovery room x rays was indeed done, he visited me every evening that I was in the hospital and he made sure that my care at home was lined up before he released me. I am wk 4 and doing great. I'm already able to do things that I couldn't do even before my surgery. I'm very happy!

I have never seen a more rude unprofessional surgeon as dr braunlich I hope for my wife's sake he is better at surgery than the way he conducts himself with his patients. .. At no point did make any attempt to talk to anyone after my wife's surgery I was not notified that she was out of surgery, if she was okay,if everything went well . Never ever has this happened before .always always has the doctor came to me and said your wife's fine everything went well. but not this doctor. Nothing.

I respect this Dr. very much with his professionalism. He will tell you up front and precise on what needs to be done. I have had Dr. Braunlich do two knee replacements and a massive muscle tear in a shoulder and trust his opinions. Dr. Braunlich has heart and respect for his patients and a fantastic PR manner.
