Dr. Earl Fernando, MD

Dr Fernando has helped me live a healthier life and a patient with Type 2 Diabetes. His extensive knowledge and education in the diabetes arena are the best. He is extremely thorough from labs to prescribed medication. His staff has always been professional, polite and very efficient. I highly recommend Dr Fernando!

Most offices I've been to, the doctors assistants just checks you without asking questions and pass you on to the doctor which they normally see you for 5-10 minutes and writes you off. Doctor Fernando is one of the most compassionate doctors I've ever met in my life. He truly cares about his patients and it shows through his care. The staff makes my parents feel at home and are highly knowledgeable in helping my parents understand their medical condition on their level of understanding. Initially, I felt the wait time was long, but that's to be expected in any office when the office is pqcked. Then I started scheduling appointments for my parents which made things so much better. I highly recommend Dr. Fernando as a private care provider.

Dr Fernando may be a good doctor but he runs a very unprofessional practice. His office staff are unprofessional and unfriendly and the office set up doesn’t feel like a doctors office. Every time I have taken my Client to see the doctor I have over heard staff members making rude comments and or talking about patients. Additionally, I have witnessed Debbie talking loud and laughing with other staff members about non work related subjects etc. I have also seen the Doctor and staff members standing right outside their back entrance door smoking and talking loud during business hours while patients are waiting to be seen. Again very unprofessional!! I have encouraged my client to find a new doctor and I would never refer or recommend this doctor to anyone. They also state that on Thursdays, they are open until 8pm. I drove over 20 miles to take my client to see the doctor on Thursday and they were closed before 4pm. Unfortunately , my client will no longer see Dr Fernando.
