What a blessing Dr. Okeechobee was to our family as she guided the care for our 88 year mother. She understood the love we have for mom and how central she is to our lives. Her explaination on her condition and the treatment regiment she was employing was delivered with kindness, honesty, and compassion. She assembled a team of doctors in every field needed to address moms condition. They were all very good and delivered the best treatment plans to return my precious mom to optimal health. I met Dr. Okeke in the Prebyterian Plano Hospital on August 22, nd. I was sent there by my OBGYN and after an examination in his office earlier that morning. I went to the ER with severe abdominal/ pelvic pain. She visited with me in a timely manner, but her unpleasant attitude stuck with me. She suspected that I had a GI issue and called in a very polite Gastroenterologist. He was in agreement with the GI Theory, so he ordered Miralax for severe constipation. Before taking me seriously enough about my pain level to keep me a third night, they both decided to send me home and told me to follow up with Dr. Hasan in his office. At 4pm, they decided to give me 8 DOSES (ALL AT ONCE) OF MIRALAX. THEY SENT ME HOME 2 HOURS LATER. I BARELY MADE IT HOME. DOCTORS....LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENTS!!!!!!
