Dr. Espanol has been providing exceptional care to my elderly father, for years. I think he has a sincere interest in serving the needs of his patients. When my brother or I have questions about my father's health, he is always very willing to take the time to answer our questions thoroughly. I haven't had a problem using MyChart as long as I communicate clearly. He's a great doctor, and I feel lucky to have found a care provider that isn't just churning us through the office when we visit.

He has been my Dr for about 4 years now and I can't say enough good things about him. He is the first Dr to actually listen and try and help my health problems. He may run a little behind but that's because he actually talks to his patients and doesn't rush them out the door. I really hope he stays in Tacoma because if he moves I may have to too.

I have been seeing Dr. Espanol for 3 years now, and he is phenomenal. I have never had a better care provider. Eddie is caring, passionate, and competent. I highly recommend.

I saw the negative reviews of Dr Espanole and had to chip in with a rebuttal based on my own experience. I have been seeing him since he started at Tacoma Central Family Medicine, and I have had nothing but great care from him. He has always listened to me and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I would, and have recommended him to my family. As far as getting quick appointments like the old days, good luck with any provider these days. I can usually get in to see him within 7-10 days.

Dr. Espanol and his staff are very friendly. Schedule appointments many weeks in advance, however; and if you have an urgent problem, plan on seeing somebody else in his practice. Follow through with referrals, specialty orders, etc, is slow. If you are accustomed to using My Chart for test results, prescription refills, etc., you will have to wait weeks until the system does it automatically for him. Nice guy, but he lacks the expertise and time management skills of more experienced physicians.
