Worst run practice
After being referred by my primary care doc, and scheduled for an appt, this practice called me multiple times to request new patient info. Yet, when I called back, no one ever answered or replied to my messages, and their messages never told me how to provide them the info. When I went to the appt, at the ONLY location listed on their website, they sent me to another location (and did not provide me the address — I had to find it online myself, and it isn’t listed under the practice name). I rushed there, in tears, only to be told they wouldn’t see me because I was 20 minutes late. At no point was I told my appt was at this un-published location. Even when I call this practice, there phone recording only provides one address for their office, not the secondary location they sent me to. This was THE WORST experience I’ve ever had with a medical practice. Do not recommend.

Be careful that the billing department doesn't get creative with the diagnostic codes in order to maximize profits at the patients (that's you) expense!

The people in the billing department were extremely rude. They tried billing my procedure using the wrong diagnosis code. Why would they do that you might ask. Because if it is billed as medically necessary then they must accept what the insurance company gives them, which is a fraction of their normal charge. However, if they say the procedure wasn't medically necessary, then the patient must pay the full amount of their normal charge for that procedure. The difference is over $5000.00!

My husband had appointments continually with Dr. Blades, we had a large garbage bag full of prescriptions and still he told my husband that if he didn't get it under control (ulcerative colitis), he would lose his colon. He ended up in the hospital for months, septic, his colon was removed and the whole time the cavalier attitude was unbearable. Would not recommend him. There are other practices that are better and more understanding.
