Dr. Edward Layne, MD

I am a physician who struggled for many years to find a good gastroenterologist until I found Dr. Layne. He is not only knowledgeable, but also very caring. His practice of integrative medicine looks at all the aspects that can affect your health. Highly recommended.

The Best. If you have a problem with something other than his ability as a Doctor don't blame it on him blame it on the office, because giving him a bad review for a office issue may cause someone not to go to a very good Doctor. He is 76 yrs old and he knows what he is doing. If he can't get to you at the appointment time and you have to wait it is probably because he is not rushing on someone else and you should hope for the same when it is your turn. His scheduling system could be better, but you will be very happy you waited.

i havent seen dr layne in about 5 years! i have liver disease with ascites he prescribed the correct medication and told me "an apple a day..." told me about smoothies to get more fruits and veggies! he was right on all counts thats why i havent needed him in such a ,long time! but now im having stomach problems and when i first met dr layne i was in hospital which had already called my friend asking for my next of kin cause didnt think id make it through the night! dr layne practically singlehandedly saved my life!not only am i living a long and healthy life thanks to him i dont ever want another GI dr unless absolutely necessary! sooo all this to say dr layne cares about his patients and i think a little prayer from him was there too! so if you want the best no matter what the expense or cost i would highly recommend him! thanks again dr layne!

I was prepped the day before for the colonoscopy that following day when I was scheduled friend of mine I taken off of work to get me to the hospital and come to find out he had canceled my day! VERY unprofessional! Office did not call, nobody gave me a heads-up an I was thoroughly disgusted with the unprofessionalism of his office and have him to do that! They wanted to reschedule for the next day which was totally not appropriate! After what I went through prepping the night before!

Dr Layne is very knowledgeable and educates his patients, helping them heal and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

This Doctor Office not only refuses to apply the insurance that at first they say the office accepts it secondly misspells your name on purpose. Several months after appointment where proper ID was given and all correct before patient left the office the staff changed things. Insurance company states no claims ever sent on behalf of patient from this office. Being forced to pay full amount of bill.

Dr. Layne is very professional, caring and understanding. He takes the time to listen to his patients. I went to other gastroenterologists who would not pay attention to what I told them, and would tell me that was not in books. He has made complete change in my quality of life.

Cares about his patients...will give you 100% of his undivided time when he sees you. Will get to the bottom of your conditions. Will help save your life, if you get to him in time. Has the patience of "Job..."Care more about your health than money. Believe in natural healing. Believe your life-style can hurt or help you... A doctor you can trust and count on...
