Very nice and explained everything thoroughly.
It was not rushed, his staff was just as professional as he was. Explained the differences in conditions as well as the need for the tests.Very reassuring and calm, would highly recommend this doctor.

The wait time is horrible. I sat and watched people come and go down different hallways for different physicians for an hour and half. Not to mention my eye was in a great deal of pain. When I get called back the nurse was very kind and apologetic. Dr. Mintz took his time getting to me as I sat in the room for another 30 mins. When he finally came in he briefly looked at my eye, called in a prescription and I was let go. All that waiting for a 5 minute interaction with the “Doctor”.

My retina specialist from another practice recommended Dr. Mintz when I needed cataract surgery. My vision is great now and the entire experience was easy. He's a skilled, caring physician, and all of his assistants were conscientious and caring also. It's a little scary to think about having the lens removed from your eye, but I always felt confident that it would turn out the way it did. Perfect.

He was not accommodating for my disability request letter, and he was quite offensive in his remarks about taking my eye muscle disability seriously. I would not recommend him or his office, Columbia Eye Clinic.
