Dr. Edward Share, MD

I can’t tell you about my visit. Helen seems to be doing her best to NOT have me see the Doctor. She even seemed to assess my need and refuse to make an appointment as if she has a Medical Degree. Dr. Share is an excellent Doctor but his assistant lives up to all the other negative reviews.

I have tried to make an appointment for weeks. I have left several messages requesting an appointment and Helen never calls back. Helen finally called me back at 6:45pm. She left a message telling me to call her in the morning. I called her the next morning and was told she won’t be in the office until 11:00 am. I called back at 12:00 noon a recording said the office is closed until 1:00pm. I called after 1:00 the phone just kept ringing. I called 5 more times just minutes in between. Finally got the machine again. I called back (my call’s always pass a main reception desk) talked to the main reception desk and asked if there is a problem with the office of Dr. Shares office and once again was told to leave a message. Basically she could not be bothered! I’m done!!! I’m not interested in nor do I feel like I can trust this Doctor or office with my health needs! Moving on to someone else!!!!??

Dr. Share is 1st-Rate. He has NO problem consulting with other specialists when there's a complex issue. In my case he quickly brought in another specialist, avoiding, the "I can do this by myself" egotistical behavior normal with too many other Physicians. I believe this action ultimately saved my life! In my experience, numbers of other Physicians not only treat us, but cater to their ego's need to be "right", blurring the issues at hand. This isn't the case with Dr. Share.

Dr Share is a really terrific doctor but his assistant Helen gets in the way of getting the care you need. She's unbelievably useless and rude, on the rare occasions she's even in the office - she's definitely not paying attention. She doesn't call in scripts, doesn't respond to requests for prior authorization, doesn't give messages to the doctor for callback requests, is snarky and nasty on the phone. I've never met someone in healthcare so clearly ill-suited for the job.
