Dr. Edward Stein, DPM

Dr Stein was my podiatrist for several years. He did great on hangnails on my toes. I developed Plantar Fasciitis and Dr. Stein treated me with first the ultrasonic and wraps, then EPT and physical therapy. After nearly of year of treatment and no relief, finally as a last resort he did a heel resection and fasciotomy. In this procedure he was to remove the spur on my heel and cut the offending ligament. I had follow ups for several months and the heel was not improved. All during the treatment, Dr. Stein was caring and wanted the best for me. The scar didn't heal over properly and left a lot of scar tissue. (I am not diabetic). On my last visit, he introduced me to his replacement as he's retiring somewhat. I was not impressed. I finally sought a second opinion. The Xray showed there was spur tissue still in my heel where it was to be removed. Had surgery the second time by another podiatrist. He fixed my Plantar Fasciitis. I'm good now

He is patient oriented, listens to my problems and knows exactly what to do to give relief. I had a great experience with Dr. Stein as well as his staff. Everyone is friendly, professional and cares about me as a person. I tell everyone i know about their office.
