Awful office staff
The doctors are wonderful but the staff is absolutely horrendous. Zero compassion and understanding. They should not work in healthcare. After some really awful treatment I will never return after being a patient for five years. The doctors should really consider who they hire and retain because they will keep losing patients as long as they have office staff that continues to behave rude and unethically towards patients.

Don't Count on Them to Get Paperwork Right - EVER!
Their office is a nightmare. Doctors are good, but everything else is horrible. If you need blood work sent to other doctors, forget about it. They can't seem to ever get it where it needs to go. Then, they won't even give it to you. Says the doctor has to review it first. But they never review it and it never gets to where it needs to go. They nickel and dime you for everything. If they have to clear a medication, they charge you. They are going the airline model. Just an unpleasant experience and their office manager is just the most unpleasant person that I have ever come across.

Nurse practitioner she wonderful . The women in the front desk are rude , nasty , and disrespectful. All they do is scream at you if you disagree with them or they have to explain something . They all sit there with the most miserable faces. I hate going there for that reason but the nurse practitioner she absolutely great !

The Receptionist and Office Manager are rude and nasty. I called in to ask why this Dr refused to send a prescription to my pharmacy for my high blood pressure. I told them that is not a vitamin, it's an important medication for my health and they treated me with no respect and the Dr believed their side of the story. This Dr plays with people's health. I had an emergency and could not go to see him at his office and that was the reason why I called to have him send the prescription to my pharmacy. They are so unprofessional and didn't let me explain anything. I don't need them, their are many Profesional Doctor's where I live. I was shock and have never have been treated with such disrespect. I was new with this old crazy Dr. Never liked him anyways.

I wouldn't recommend this man, refuse to call him a DR, if my life depended on it. HORRIBLE!!! Didn't treat my Dad correctly (ended up passing away 5 hours after being in his care), neglected to run tests he said he would for my mother and led to more issues and after he screamed at me and my family on the phone last night like a lunatic, when we were trying to get answers about my grandmother who is currently being treated HORRIBLY at Clara Maass under his care, I am absolutely DONE.

you can never get anyone on the phone in the Nutley location. very frustrating. They should give the answering service access to appointments made. They are the only ones you can ever reach.
