This doctor was incredibly insensitive. He did not take the time to explain any of my concerns to me. I saw him multiple times, and each time he seemed more and more frustrated by my questions. At one point he said “I can do nothing for you”. It was a simple shoulder injury that I was attempting to get answers for. After getting an XRay and going to physical therapy to try to resolve my issue, I returned to Dr. Velarde and asked him if he thought an MRI would be in order at this point ... his response was “I don’t know”. I asked if he could help me get scheduled for one. He said he could not. I left super frustrated and found a new doctor that day. I do not recommend this man to anyone who is looking to ask questions about their health!
