Dr. Efrossini Kolios, MD

She takes her time to make sure all of your needs are taken care of. In these times when it is hard for a doctor to take the time to give patients what they need. She does her best! Small fingers are a plus.

Dr. Kolios is my Urologist since Sept, 2022 when I was first diagnosed with NMIBC. She is straight to the point Urologist, does not sugar coat it and tells you what you need to hear. She truly cares about her patients' health. She has taken the time to answer my questions, and keep me informed of each of my procedures. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. Thank you Dr. Kolois.

The rudest doctor I have ever experienced in my life. I left her office and cried in my car because she made me feel so much worse about my medical problem. I tried to report her behavior to the office, and of course, I heard no response. I also tried to explain the previous tests that I had, and I mentioned that my provider told me that a certain area had been tested, yet I didn't see it on the notes. Dr. Kolios then claimed that this particular area is not tested on a CT Scan. When I said that my provider specifically told me that it was, she said I was lying. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She kept cutting me off as well. I said I was terrified of my problem and she kept telling me to "take it down." She was angry at me for being on the verge of tears! She is a heartless, horrible human being who should not be in practice.

Our initial conversation in the exam room left me alone with her leaving the room, walking down the hall to her office and slamming her door. It was the most rude and unprofessional experience I have ever encountered in a medical situation. She should not be allowed to treat patients like that. I work in the local medical field and everyone I know will hear about my experience with her.

I Winter in Florida. If I needed urological surgery again, I would fly North to have her do the work. That's how much trust and affection that she inspires in her patients. Doctor Kolios is a doctor who is a healer. That's her goal.

Excellent doctor with a wonderful personality, you definitely feel your with a knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. I have recommended her to my friends and family.

I live in Florida and travel to upstate NY summers to be with family. I found Dr. Kolios and now SHE is one of the reasons I return. I have complicated bladder issues and only trust her. And this is after visiting several other urologists. My prayers have been answered, I am blessed. I wish I could feel this way about all my doctors!

My primary care provider referred me to Dr. Kolios for a consultation for a vasectomy. My experience with the office was extremely pleasant. Dr. Kolios was very friendly and puts you at ease immediately, even during the procedure. She is very personable and funny, and I'm surprised to say the procedure was comfortable and enjoyable. The office was great with follow up, with reminder calls and letters reminding me to complete the semen analysis to confirm I was sterile. I have referred friends to Dr. Kolios for various reasons and would recommend her and her to to anyone looking for a urologist.

Dr.Kolios is an outstanding doctor who is very compassionate about making her patients feel at ease. I have serve anxiety issues and Dr.Kolios has gone out of her way to make sure I am comfortable. I am very lucky to have found her as my urologist.

I wish I could give Dr. Kolios 10 stars. She's so thorough, so helpful. I trust her 100% and I know she cares about her patients. After being treated by three other urologists over several male doctors without results, I finally found Dr. Kolios. She has solved every urological problem I've had.

Dr. Kolios is such a wonderful doctor. In addition to being so knowledgeable, she is kind and caring as well. She takes her time to explain everything, and you never feel rushed. She truly is a wonderful physician and person.

Today was my third appointment with Dr. Kolios, her bedside manner is compassionate, professional, and easy to understand. As many of her reviews say, OTHER DRS. TAKE NOTE. She is a true professional and I've never felt more comfortable with any other Dr. Especially when dealing with kidney stones. Dr. K your the best!!!

My 54 yo husband was diagnosed w bladder cancer on 12.22.16 and although we were totally devastated, Dr. Kolios and her staff were outstanding. Dr. Kolios was extremely kind in her delivery, thorough explanations and did not rush us during our many questions. After surgery she provided us a comprehensive recap and delivered systematic future steps, all with sincere kindness. Dr. Kolios is very compassionate and we highly recommend her to you!

Dr Kolios is a very talented doctor and surgeon. She has a gift of being able to put a patient at ease. She explains things patiently and in understandable terms. She has helped me through a medical condition I had. Two of my family members were having issues that other doctors were not successful in solving. I made appointments for both of them with her. She was able to determine the problem and worked with us to solve. I think the world of Dr.Kolios!

I had two kidney stone episodes during 2016. I'd never had this problem before, and knew little about it. Dr. Kolios was amazingly good - informative, exceptionally responsive even when I had an episode away from Albany, and she took the time to provide very clear explanations, recommendations, and advice. She conducted an ultrasound procedure that solved the problem. Very highly recommended!

Dr Kolios could not have been more wonderful. She was compassionate, thorough and incredibly knowledgeable . She explained everything to us and our daughter in a way that made us all comfortable, and answered all of our questions. She has a tremendous bedside manner, and mad us feel like we were more than just a patient. I would recommend her to anyone.
