Dr. Eileen Hession, MD

I've been going to Dr. Hession for a few years now. I feel that she is caring, and reviews my medical history before she sees me so that she can ask relevant questions. She is thorough and always answers my questions/explains terms to me in laymans terms. I highly recommend Dr. Hession.

She's nice, but you need more than just nice in a doctor. She is not very thorough and actually lies in her notes which is negligent and dangerous. She spends hardly any time with you. I would not recommend this doctor to anybody.

Dr. Hessian is a thoughtful, thorough and caring physician. Appointments offer an opportunity to discuss whatever issues are foremost, and her recommendations are reliable. I trust her implicitly.

I recently started seeing Dr. Hession and sadly am already seeking care elsewhere. During an appointment I expressed concerns about having several prescriptions filled in a timely manner, especially in light of going out of town -this was over a week in advance. Fast forward to the day I ran out of my medications: Dr. Hession not only failed to complete my prescriptions, she also ignored the messages I sent over the portal in advance and didn't respond to my phone calls. She waited until the end of her work day to finally fill the scripts by which point the pharmacy was unable to fulfill the entirety of my order and had to wait until the next day to begin to sort through several mistakes. As a result I was denied my medication in a timely manner which needlessly worsened my physical condition. I have other concerns about Dr. Hession, which I accrued after several appointments. In short, I do not feel listened to by this doctor and do not feel as if she has my best interests at heart.

Dr. Hession is an excellent doctor and very kind person. I am lucky to have her as my PCP and would highly recommend her.

Dr. Hession authentically cares for her patients, is very kind, thorough, thoughtful. Spends plenty of time. The best doctor I’ve ever had!

I got tested and supposedly could have a serious health problem, yet it can take weeks to get a response from Dr Hession. The only way to get in touch with her is leave a voice mail or message her through the website. Most of these never get responded to. I would highly recommend against using her for your doctor. I am in the process of switching away from her even though I only started seeing her within the past few months. It's been an awful experience!
