Best Cardiologist I ever saw.
She listens, discusses, instructs. She doesn't try to wow you with big medical words. I would follow her wherever she went.

Arrogant doctor
No compassion. She thinks she is immortal. I think not so much. She gives up on patients easily. Go to another doctor out of PA. And you will live much longer. I know from experience.

Totally unprepared for my visit! A doctor that I was referred to by my PCP had the foresight to set up an echocardiogram a month in advance of my appointment with Dr. Rattigan. This would ensure that she'd know how serious my mitral regurgitation was. So I had the echo done and, on the day of the appointment with Dr. Rattigan, she couldn't find the results of the test. So other than listening to my heart and being dismissive of me because of my young age, we accomplished nothing!

If I could leave "0" stars, I would! She belittled my serious heart condition because I am young; having inherited this from my dad, who had surgery in his mid-50s. Also, she said I did not have a genetic condition which was diagnosed at a genetics lab. She ridiculed my warm clothing because I was always cold. Her attitude was rude and condescending & was never prepared for my visit, making it seem each time that it was the first time I was there. So I found myself a new cardiologist!

Was the first Dr I have had at Geisinger that I was unhappy with. I have a lot of health problems, and when she blew me off about my echo, telling me it was part of aging. Also my pulmonologist picked a heart murmur as well as the echo. She told me she didn't hear one, and gave me some kind of explanation, which I didn't understand, and I'm a RN. I will not go back to her. No empathy at all. She also told me to walk 6 times a week.
