Do not take your children to see her
I wish I would have seen these reviews but we were referred from another Dr at Cardinal Glennon and didn't even know her name before we met her. This was the most unbelievably traumatic appointment for my son. Dr. Siegfried blindsided us that he likely has a rare disfiguring disease with no cure and then proceeded to Google pictures of people with disfigured faces and turned the computer screen for my son to see!!! I had to swipe it away from him. Then she talked about an unrelated disease and how anyone can die from any disease and my son was hysterical when we left and for a week after. Why is this woman practicing medicine at a CHILDRENS hospital!!? Time to retire lady. You are not fit to be working with the public.

We seen her for hemangiomas for one of my twin daughters. She was seen from about 3 months until 10 months. She had one in a complicated location that was beginning to bother her. I took her back to see her (2.5 hour drive each time) because I knew it was starting to rub raw. She told us not to worry and to continue doing what we were doing. I asked about removal and she said we’d have to wait until she was three. The next day, her hemangioma ulcered causing her immense pain. I reached out to her and she still said to do the same thing we were doing. At that point, I reached out to her pediatrician and she referred us to St. Louis Childrens. They seen her once and got her scheduled for surgery. She doesn’t listen. She has her mind made up before she even considers any new information.

Dr Siegfried has always (and I've been going to her for over 12 years) been friendly, caring and going above to help. I cannot believe some of these comments. Just not the Dr I have come to know.

We have been seeing Dr. Siegfried since August 2019. We started seeing her when my son had to be hospitalized and her and her office are beyond knowledgeable about his conditions. He has severe asthma, eczema and allergies. They were able to get him approved for a shot that has helped him beyond measures. She does seem a little tough at times but she has been able to get my sons skin extremely clear and hes never had that his entire life.

WORST doctor EVER. My son has epilepsy and stress brings on a seizure. She did everything in her power to belittle him and called him a liar saying he has more meds than what was listed. Didn't even apologize when she was proven wrong. She was so rude. Guess what??? 2 days after the visit my son has a seizure. We waited 3 months for this appointment. That was the first and last time my son will ever go to her. Don't waste your time and find another dermatologist.

I went with my niece. Staff let us know she was behind. Not how far. We waited for 4 hours total to be seen for 10 minutes. We were told we were exaggerating her symptoms because skin issues look bad and we were told to give an 11 month old a bleach bath and next time it happens email her some pictures. Very unprofessional and not friendly. Even her residents were not friendly. They are working with children. They did not seem to know or care what the baby had. Never ever again.

Dr. Siegfried was so rude to me when I took my son to visit her for the first & last time; I never went back. I endup telling her off & was about to report her to the Board after she told me that I made too many visits to the ER;which had nothing to do with dermatology so i not sure why she felt the need to say anything to me about that, b/c his Pediatrician didn't. My son has asthma & when I can't control it & he can't breathe, I take him to the ER for help, b/c thats what it is there for Dr. S

I too had a terrible experience with Dr. Siegfried. Did not care for her bedside manner and the way she spoke to me. In addition, dismissed my concerns with my daughter and made comments to me regarding my care for my daughter that wasn't necessary to say after meeting us for 15 minutes. Will not be returning to see this physician. .

Will NEVER return to this location or to Dr Siegfried. COMPLETELY DISRESPECTFUL dr who needs to be a but more educated on issues that she is not sure of instead of pretending like she knows. And a 2 hour wait for pediatric derm with a total of almost 3 hours spent.... do you respect your patients time and what about your patients parents time?? HIGHLY UPSET WITH OUR VISIT
