Dr. Elana Harway, MD

I am a current Medical student, aspiring to be the best doctor I can be one day, to be able to help others. Im saddened to say doctors like Doctor Harway are a discouragement to us medical professionals. I went to doctor harway because my family could not afford to go to a private doctor so we get covered my Medicaid. I have never experienced such horrible bedside manner. Since the moment she comes in the room you don’t feel like she is there to help you but rather she just wants to get through with you to get through her day. I came to doctor Harway because I had really chronic pain and her response was “I can’t fix it” “I don’t know what you want me to do” “I don’t feel comfortable ordering you an MRI because the pain does not affect you’re every day life”. I asked, “but what if the pain becomes a serious more issue in the future?” Her response was “I don’t know what to tell you, can’t help you” Nobody should feel discriminated or treated indifferently by a medical professional.

Much too rushed. You have little time for the wait you experience. Doesn’t seem much interested either.

She is horrible. Don't waste your time! she's rude beyond belief and doesn't listen. Unless you have a cookie cutter issue, she doesn't care. She's reluctant to listen and will belittle your opinion at every chance. She shouldn't be a doctor. Also she's incompetent. She mis-measured my leg and rudely questioned if i was doing my exercises and then she re-measured and found she was wrong. Don't go to her. She's awful. She deserve a negative star.

I have been a patient of Dr Harway's for more than a year and would absolutely recommend her. My experiences with Dr. Harway have all been positive and brought relief to serious problems. The last time I saw Dr. Harway she adjusted my medications according to Blood Test Results. The Doctor also recommended to my insurance I receive a new leg brace as the one she originally prescribed for me no longer fit as I have lost quite a bit of weight. Straight Talkin, up top date and well informed!

nice to deal with & took longer than any doctor at chc. listened to me & felt she cared for. after refural to another dr from er i went back to her instead

Dr. Harway needs to retire! She did not have the correct women's post-op shoe so she tried to get me to wear a men's size Large which my foot was swimming in and then she suggested I could wear a pair of cowboy boots as they'd be just as good...could you imagine trying to squeeze a foot with 2 broken toes into cowboy boots? She made snide remarks about the degree of my osteoporosis thinking she was being humorous. Also stated a healthier diet won't help the osteoporosis only prescription drugs

Dr Harway listens well and is very clear about all your options. I liked that she wrote the options and plan out for me to take. She is always pleasant, patient & knowledgeable. I never feel rushed like in some offices where the doctor is gone before you get your question out. However, she does not perform surgery.
