Dr. Kuo is exceptional in all ways…personable, knowledgeable, honest and a great listener.

Dr Kuo and his staff were amazing from start to finish. Kind, efficient, kept us informed of the plan of care all through my cancer care. Had a lobectomy on Tuesday and went home on a Thurs with no complications. Couldn't be happier with his care

Not enough space to say everything I want about Dr Kuo. He is sympathetic, empathetic and kind. He genuinely cares about his patients! Explains everything. My hiatal hernia surgery was a breeze!! He and his staff made me feel like family and his ' larger than life' just added to the experience!! I can't thank him enough!!

I have had a lung surgery with Dr. Kuo and his staff recently. This Dr is not only the nicest caring dr, but also the most knowledgeable. I was so stressed about this surgery and he spent time with me to explain the procedures, drew pictures and diagrams for me. He is so good with people. When I left his office I knew I would be in the best possible hands that I could be. I was so sure what ever was to come, that I would be safe and cared for. His staff is so well trained, and I never met one person that wasn’t kind caring and available whether it was at the office, hospital or on the phone. Excellent care all around. I am now well and cancer free.

Dr. Kuo is the best hands down surgeon I have ever been cut by! He treats you like family and answers every question. A truly caring human being!! And capable too.

I had early detection of esophageal cancer at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center and was assigned to Dr Kuo. Dr Kuo met with other surgeons and he mapped out my treatment of chemo, radiation and surgery. Dr Kuo performed successful robotic esophagectomy on 8/5/22.

Dr. Kuo, explained in detail the results to all different studies and explained step by step how my surgery would be performed. My surgery was perfect and I am so glad to have been referred to Dr. Kuo, he is very professional and connects with his patient at a very human level.

From the first visit Dr Kuo explained my problems and the plan to fix them. Dr. Walter Wakwe did my surgery. He gets 5 stars along with his team. They were a phone call away to answer my questions and concerns.

After my surgery, I needed to be seen frequently in a short span of time. Each visit went well and I didn't think he would need to see me, but before my visit was over, Dr. Kuo appeared, asked me questions, took the time to respond to all my concerns, and gave me the feeling that I was his only patient. My visits were scheduled according to my needs, not whether or not I could be fit into the schedule for the day. He and his staff are top notch!

Dr Kuo was very professional and thorough in the diagnosis of my usual thoracic issue. He was positive, confident, and precise in my complex situation which helped me to be more relaxed with my care. Dr Kuo and his entire thoracic team made things happen quickly and smoothly and I am well in my recovery! Kudos to the entire Banner Boswell and Banner Gateway teams!

Dr.Kuo and his team scheduled surgery following day: excellent procedure/result, very personable including team in his office, and was able to transfer to rehab day following surgery.
