Great Surgeon
Dr. Eichbaum and his surgical staff are amazing. I recently had a Laminectomy at Washington Hospital performed by Dr. Eichbaum. Both he and his staff were very informative and caring. I would highly recommend Dr. Eichbaum.

I have not seen Dr. Eichbaum yet. I have a comment on the Patient Registration package. It required the potential patient to give social security number, the PHOTO COPIES of the driver's license and the insurance card - front AND back sides. (The following is the actual instructions from the doctor office : "Instructions: Please include photo id and insurance card with your packet." And the whole package needs to be sent over to the office by FAX OR EMAIL. These are the VERY high risk requirements of the personal information when ALL confidential information are included in one package and to be sent over via electronic media. I provided the SSN, copy of the ins. card and asked to present my driver's license when I come for the appointment. My request was declined and I was refused to have an appointment with the doctor. I urge the doctor and his office to review and change the requirements of providing personal confidential information on the Patient Registration package.

Dr Eichbaum did my surgery back in August 5th 2000. I was in a near fatal car wreck and fractured my C6-C7 vertebrate. He did an amazing job with my surgery and even till today everything looks great. He truly saved my life that day. I've been paralyzed for 20 years and it shows how great of work he did. Thank you Dr Eichbaum, I will never forget you. My family still talks about you today and we are all forever thankful for your incredible work that day. God bless your journey. You blessed mine. Sincerely, Glenn Pierce

I had a back injury which caused nerve damage to my right leg. My leg would go weak after walking 100 feet. He did surgery and the next day my leg was 90% better and continues to improve. After my experience with the Dr I would 100% recommend him. Fantastic Dr.

I love Dr Eichbaum. He is the best Sugeon I’ve ever delt with. He listens, gives you options. My wait time is no more than 4 minutes from the time I arrive to the time I see him face to face. The staff there is wonderful, knowledgeable, kind and make you feel special. I recommend him to anyone who needs a kind and understanding doctor. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

Dr. Eichbaum explained my cervical problems during the first office visit thoroughly. He gave me time to express my symptoms and concerns. He let me think of all the options for treatment to choose. I am so happy to have the right physician taking care of me pre and post-op dedicatedly. I recommend to anyone who needs to see a spine specialist to come to Dr. Eichbaum at Washington Hospital in Fremont California.
