Great doc! Excellent listener, he took his time assessing my issue, and fully explained treatment options and my outlook. He provided comprehensive background on how my issue had developed and self-help options I can implement to address and prevent problems going forward. He was conservative in his treatment recommendations, saving me the risk of potential complications and out-of-pocket money as well. Very pleased!

Dr Lawson is one of those physicians that truly cares about his patients. I know you hear that all the time but he really is excellent as a surgeon & person. There is nothing in his manner to even hint at condenscencion toward a patient, he's thoughtful, kind and most importantly listens to your concerns. I went into St Agnes on 8/25/17 for a bowel obstruction he was the surgeon on call & let me tell you I was blessed by that! I highly recommend Dr Lawson & will be going back to him for hernias
