Dr. Elena Kazlo, DO

Dr Kazlo is excellent. In April 2021 I suffered a stroke which required me to be treated by a cardiologist and neurologist who each concentrated on their area of specialty. Dr Kazlo coordinated treatments between these two and offered a thorough assessment of my condition. I recommend her to friends and feel completely confident in her.

Dr. Elena kazlo was so kind, great bedside manners . She really listened to me and made me feel super comfortable. So happy to have found her !

I cannot thank Dr. Kazlo, enough. Initially, I was worried as I had been with my previous doctor for several years and never received notification of his departure/her taking over. However, I am so incredibly grateful that she did. I have horrible anxiety that has never been controlled. Dr. Kazlo didn’t hesitate to make several medication changes our very first visit. At first, I was very worried with her changes. But now, I have never felt better. My anxiety feels nonexistent. I am finally sleeping. I didn’t even realize how dependent I had become on my previous meds- that weren’t even working! Dr. Kazlo, is incredibly knowledgeable, intuitive, and compassionate - especially with mental health. She spent well over the allotted appointment time to explain (in detail) her changes – I have never had a doctor do that before. She could’ve easily clicked “refill” but she knew I could feel better and spent the time and effort to help me. All I can say is she’s the best.

I was initially apprehensive having such a young doctor as my primary. Dr. Kazlo replaced my previous primary when he left the practice. She had huge shoes to fill and has done so with compassion, knowledge and engaging the patient regarding their medical conditions, needs and concerns. I've never felt rushed or demeaned, which can happen when a doctor is "full of themselves". One of the things I really like about her is that she doesn't propose she knows everything and will readily acknowledge when she's outside her comfort-zone. That's what specialists are for and she is receptive to offering recommendations or allowing you to do your own research in finding a specialist you like.

Dr. Kazlo had extremely poor communication skills, was not at all personable and made me feel like I was being shamed for my medical history. I will be leaving the practice she is at because of my experience with her. I would highly suggest that anyone with any sort of prescription management or other past medical problems find someone else as she is clearly not suited to handle anything besides a well visit for a child.

She’s the best doctor I have ever had, and I’ve seen a lot. She has now set the standard for care that I will forever hold all other doctors to. She listens closely, she remembers details and past conversations, responds to messages and questions promptly and thoughtfully. If you have worrisome symptoms or concerns she is incredibly thorough and determined. On top of all that professionalism; she is caring, kind, sweet and easy to speak to. You cannot have a better primary care physician.
