Dr Bryk was brusque, dismissive, and perfunctory, spending the barest moments necessary to examine me and clearly ignoring the context for my injury. I'm a serious endurance cyclist, with my goal to learn more about my knee injury and get help in returning to full performance. Instead Dr Bryk seemed to assume I was a hapless middle-aged lady probably fiddling around the gym trying to lose weight, and recommended that I never do lunges or squats again as 'people only do those to make their butts look good.' INCREDIBLE. If my knee issues persist (as they were barely addressed by Dr Bryk apart from prescribing physical therapy) I will see a sports medicine specialist with contemporary and relevant knowledge of fitness and sports training, who will hopefully be more invested in helping me return to full health and the sport that I love.

A real wise guy. He was pushing me to have knee surgery which I found out from an orthopedist at NYU Langone was not necessary. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

I felt brushed off, condescended and uncomfortable during my visit with Dr. Eli Bryk. As a young, professional dancer with hip pain that impedes walking, I left with only the advice to stop dancing, instead of a game plan of how to get me there or which part of my hip was injured so I could work with my physical therapist. Also, he mentioned multiple times that "young women do too many lunges at the gym", which was an off color comment to make to a young woman in gym clothes.

Dr. Bryk is an excellent surgeon. He is straight-forward and to the point, which I appreciate. He is an expert in his field. I have complete trust in Dr.Bryk. He also has a great dry sense of humor which is really comforting when you are facing major TKR surgery. I have been seeing Dr. Bryk since September 2017 and I am most satisfied. He promised he would "fix me" and so far so good, all must keep in mind that coming back from a total knee replacement is long process and P/T is a must !!!

Because of a bilateral avascular necrosis in hips, a Core decompression of right head of fémur was performed by Dr Eli Bryk in order to avert its collapse and thus prevent its total hip replacement—following the left hip’s of two years ago. Remarkably enough, either the arthroscopic incision did not touch any nerves, or my surgeon was such an artist at his craft that I have not experienced any pain. Dr Bryk deserves all the acolytes, he is an expert particularl with complex HIV clinical history
