I love the service I get here
So many of my doctors are so quick, but not Dr. Hernandez. He takes the time to discuss everything and is very thorough. I don't see him often, but I won't go anywhere else for my cardiologist needs.

Nice and Compassionate.
My dad needed to see a cardiologist and I reached out to a few who weren't seeing new patients, but not Dr. Hernandez. He took us within the same week and was able to answer all our questions and we have a plan of action. Dr. Hernandez would be who I would choose for cardiology care.

They know how to treat you
We met him when we switched cardiologists for my husband. I accompany my husband to each appointment and we knew we needed a new doctor when I asked questions of his previous one and was rudely silenced. I have never been more embarrassed or insulted. Never in a million years could I imagine being treated that way here.

Takes the time
While I would not want to feel rushed by any doctor, I especially would not want to feel that way when I am seeing one relative to the health of my heart. I’ve been under Dr. Hernandez’s care since the onset of my condition. At that time he thoroughly explained it to me and has taken the same amount of care to be sure I understand each treatment option he has employed since.

Dr. Hernandez is a good doctor, however, the reason I left his practice was due to the front employees. Very rude, long waiting times with no explanations and they submitted the wrong co-payment to my insurance company.

I went on a routine visit after a few text he told me my EKG wasn't right I told them I felt great but he persistent to do more testing I finally agree ..thank God I listen to him after all the test was done I had a 95% blockage on my main artery I was just months away from a massive heart attack and my chances of survival was slim to none..they put 3 stents in my main artery, there persistent is the reason I'm enjoying a healthy life with my family and grandkids!! Thanks again

DR. HERNANDEZ, your staff does not follow through. My surgical loop was cancelled on 4/10 and yet i received two phone calls from the hospital because you did not cancel. i have medicare and i have let them know that i will not pay for this. terrible, i have spoken to your staff at least 7 times regarding this!!!

I had a great experience with Dr. Hernandez and his staff to treat my stroke symptoms. He was very helpful in diagnosing I had AFib and within the week I was scheduled for a Loop device insertion as well as a TEE at Palms West. His professionalism and bed side manner are remarkable! I highly suggest Dr. Hernandez and his cardiac team at Palms West.

What I have a serious problem with is the reception women. I understand it was late in the day and the place is busy, but what what attitudes! What ever happen to good customer service? Check in receptionist started with attitude because I simply made copies of my insurance card and license to help out, but that didn't cut it with her! Checkout receptionist was real real rude! She raises her voice to tell me I'm last as other woman turn and look as if there is a problem! Management issue!

Terrible experience. Front desk attendant Jessie was robotic, had no urgency to have me fill out paperwork, & gave me issues about seeing Dr due to their incompetence. A referral was needed and it was sent to them days in advance WITH my insurance approval and a reference number. Dr. decided he was going to leave right at 4 even though my appointment was at 3:30. Waste of time. Definitely not returning to this office.

This Dr. staff show no interest in patient care Too many offices he works in and the staff show no care for his patient One office blame me for the inter office poor communication I almost had a heart attack at the office and had to leave soon after I got there! Don't waste your time with this Dr. he shows very little care for the patient and his staff is even worse.

I am a 40 year old male, that has been diagnosed as hypertensive, as well as have had a heart attack in the past. I was referred to Dr. Hernandez by a friends family. I have had 4 appointment with Dr Hernandez and have only seen him once. I have left 4 messages with his Medical assistant to have the Dr call me back due to the meds he put me on were dropping my pressure way to low 83/42 I have yet to hear back from him. If you want to see a Dr and not an assistant, seek another Dr.
