Dr. Buskirk is a real gem, she listens and offers advice on several levels, what is recommended, her years of experience, and knowledge base. She has a great sense of humor but never belittles your fears or anxieties -even when they are based on sleep deprived brain fog. She also spends time really listening and interacting with the baby to assess her development. Today was our nine month visit and Dr. Buskirk entered the room gently and spoke directly to the baby, acknowledging that she is at a stage that makes her shy and anxious about strangers, she put my child at ease and soon she burbled and giggled and whined like she does with us. I am very pleased with Dr Buskirk. When we had a concerning issue with constipation, we got a next day video chat with her to go over possible problems and solutions, she took the time to really reassure us and her advice was perfect. Her suggestions worked well. A doctor has to earn my trust, and Dr. Buskirk certainly has our trust and gratitude.

Dr. Buskirk is the best, she makes me feel comfortable and takes the time to answer all of my questions. When my baby was just a few days old and had jaundice, she called me herself to update me. She's very knowledgeable and personable, which is hard to find in a doctor.

Dr. Buskirk and the whole team at Wilmington Health in Monkey Junction are amazing. Each visit I am seen quickly and on time. Once I am with the clinical staff I feel important and cared for. They take their time and are gentle with my 2 children. I never feel rushed and I am given all the time I need to make sure to ask any and all questions I have. Dr. Buskirk and her staff are genuine, kind, professional and caring. I highly recommend her and Wilmington Health at Monkey Junction to all my friends.
