When my doctor of 40 years retired, a relative recommended Dr Cressy and it was a great decision. While a lot of doctors make you feel like they are on a production line, seeing as many patients in the least amount of time, Dr Cressy always takes the time to ask you questions and gives you the time to address any concerns. I've been seeing her about 5 years now and it was the best decision of my life.

My elderly mother, who has dementia, had an appointment with Dr. Cressy for a physical. Since I was traveling from Texas, I confirmed the appointment four days prior to the date. But Dr. Cressy’s office called my mother at 4:30 PM, the day before her 8:45 AM appointment and she told them to cancel the appointment (again, my mother has dementia, and Dr. Cressy is fully aware). Unaware the office had called my mother the day before, I transported her to Dr. Cressy’s office for her morning appointment. Once there, the receptionist informed me that my mother did not have an appointment. When I asked them to fit her in, the request was refused. After several conversations with the increasingly hostile receptionist, I was called back to the office manager’s office, where I received a condescending lecture for using her wrong pronoun. While I’m not sure how good of a doctor Elizabeth Cressy is, her unprofessional staff compromises her brand. Buyer beware.

Dr. Cressy is one of the best physicians I have encountered. Her examination is thorough starting with an electrocardiogram and going through everything in a patient's history. She called my pharmacy to verify all recent shots I had received, called and made arrangements for a mammogram and and bone density study. Initially, I checked her background: Graduated from University Of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, School Of Medicine and did her internship residency at the Medical College of Virginia. Both are excellent schools.

Dr. Cressy is very friendly and gives you appropriate time to answer all questions to your satisfaction. The phlebotomists are outstanding. It’s easy to get appointments on short notice.

I chose Dr. Cressy based on a previous patient's review and I wasn't disappointed. She took her time with me, answered all my questions, and suggested that I needed to see a specialist about an issue because it was out of her area of expertise. I would highly recommend Dr. Cressy to my friends and family!

Dr. Cressy is the most involved, caring, and thorough doctor that I have ever had. I have had many doctors prior to her, due to the fact that I was the wife of an Active Army Soldier. We moved many times, and I was assigned a new doctor with each move. Again, with the above, Dr. Cressy is by far the best Primary Care Physician I have ever had in my 41 years. I would highly recommend her to all of my family and friends, which I have done in the past and will continue to do so in the future!
