Turmeric is NOT a cure all
A patient of Dr. Eddy Bertrand’s for about 10 years I’ve had a lot of experience with her. Although visits would probably be less than 10 in those 10 years because I don’t complain about every little thing and have only set appts. when it’s beyond a cold issue and more of a chronic physical pain. visits are exactly the same as if it was some kind of Deja Vu. If you’re reading this review in search of a PCP let me quickly tell you the level of care you can expect from Dr. Eddy Bertrand with her 5 min visit, in my experience. Sharp shoulder pain, hurts when I reach a certain way. Dr.’s diagnosis: old age, take Turmeric. I was 39. 2yrs later, pain still there, demanded MRI. Guess what, not old age but actually a torn rotator cuff and torn labrum, needed surgery. Went recently, 48 y.o. male, to get a referral for my 1st colonoscopy, she asked why I wanted one. Really? downplays your issue, says she’s also had whatever you have and tells you to take Turmeric as if it’s a miracle cure all.

Disrespectful and dismissive.
Absolutely horrible doctor. My new insurance assigned her as my PCP so I switched over to her and she was absolutely rude and dismissive. I’ve been diabetic and dealt with hbp and insulin resistance due to PCOS so I took medications as prescribed by my previous doctor with successful results. Literally every issue resolved itself and stayed that way along with a Mediterranean diet and light exercise. This new doctor ran labs and said I was fine and didn’t need them anymore she refused to prescribe me the medication I had been taking for almost 2 years at that point. Needless to say I gained weight, A1C worsened, and bp came right back up along with PCOS symptoms. I told her being off this medication was detrimental to my health and she said she had visited poor countries with little to no food and that they don’t have fat people. Starts telling me her daily meals so I stop her and tell her the difference is I deal with diabetes and insulin resistance and she responded “yeah most

Dr. Eddy-Bertrand is my favorite Dr.
It was easy and quick to make an appointment. The wait time is reasonable, and Bonus, I Love Lucy is always playing on the TV. The Nurses are always friendly and personable. They ask great questions and take good notes. They are easy to talk to and they listen well. Dr. Eddy-Bertrand is a Kind person and is very encouraging. It makes the appointment a pleasant experience. She listens and gives advice and takes in to account your feelings and answers questions. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Eddy-Bertrand has been my doctor and my mother's doctor for almost 18 years. I usually hate going to the doctor, but I am happy to see her! She is cheerful, explains everything clearly, and has helped me stay healthy. I am grateful to have a doctor that treats me as an individual and hears my concerns. She trains PAs through USC and I think they are getting more than medical training from her. She trains them to be good listeners. When my mother faced a life-threatening stroke, Dr. Eddy-Bertrand walked with me through my decisions.

Dr. Eddie has been my primary for over 3 years. She consistently downplays all my concerns. She rushes every visit unless you want to talk about being a born again Christian. I don’t feel I am getting the proper care. I cannot recommend her to others and will be changing dr.s ASAP. I have a hard time even referring to her as a dr. Very disappointed with my over care with her. Don’t waste your time. She doesn’t care about your concerns. If you tell her your back hurts she tells you your getting old. Ummm ok……

This was my first visit at Dr. Eddy’s office and the student nurse, Jessica, that assisted in my appointment was absolutely amazing! Jessica was so sweet and genuinely caring, she made me feel very comfortable during my visit and I would definitely go back to see her. I cannot say enough nice things about her and I hope she becomes a permanent member of the staff. Dr Eddy herself was also a very engaging, professional doctor who kept me well informed. Thank you for making my first visit so great!

Unfortunately my experience was not what I had expected. First appointment and very little bedside manner. First, she walked in and didn't have her iPad told me she'd be right back. When she got back, she didn't introduce herself or ask me my name. She had the wrong patient file and started asking me about concerns from another patient. THEN she asked my name and realized she had the wrong file. As a new patient I expect any provider seeing a new patient to take the time and gather some information about the person's health history, concerns, and health goals, aside from the paperwork you fill out when you go to a new office. There was close to none of this. Yes, I was there for my yearly exam, but asking questions is so important to get to know the patient and possibly gather information that can open the door for potential referrals for preventative care. I requested certain lab work be, she failed to follow up to further explore why. Dr.Eddy failed to probe to build rapport.

This was the absolute most devastating experience of my life. This lady will give you ZERO attention to your STRESS, ANXIETY, UNCONTROLLED DIABETES & HYPERTENSION issues and will scream at you that "You are fine, there is nothing wrong with you !" just because you mentioned to her student Doctor that your job offers work at home options for those that have a doctor recommendation. I drive 4 HRS to work & back. This lady will yell at you that you are asking her to commit fraud by signing this

Dr Eddy-Bertrand has been my doctor for 8 years. Unfortunately I am unable to go to her now, but am willing to pay out of pocket just to have her see me for important check ups. She has GREAT bedside manners and really knowledgable. She was able to diagnose my Psoarisis Rosea correctly. Sometimes her front desk girls can be very cold and rude. That is the only thins I had issues with.
