Dr. Elizabeth Elkinson, MD

Dr. Elkinson did not use her medical skills to look into my concerns - instead, just prescribed birth control. When I had a misconception about something, or did my own research and presented it to her, she got an attitude with me. I did not appreciate her bedside manner, and she actually made me uncomfortable. Will not be seeing her for my endometriosis anymore.

Wow… Dr. Elkinson is phenomenal! I had to change Gynecologists last year after my previous doctor retired. I had a horrible experience. After I began having issues, I knew I needed to find another doctor. I researched and found Dr. Elkinson. Again, I cannot say enough with how pleased I am! The staff were nice, helpful, and friendly, immediately setting me at ease. Dr. Elkinson sat down and talked to me, asked me questions, listened, and provided me with information. She took time to address any concerns I had as well. She is personable yet professional and provided me with excellent care. I am very grateful!

I noticed some folks rated their appointment as "rushed". I did feel that Dr. Elkinson was prompt and quick with the visit, but honestly I appreciated that. Despite the appointment being quick, I still felt that she took pause when I noted concerns I had and listened attentively and answered thoroughly. I wouldn't call her a rush-er, I would call her efficient and succinct. ;)

I could not have received better care than the care I have received so far from Dr. Elkinson! She is amazing.

Dr. Elkinson did not listen to my concerns about my hormones. She even laughed at my symptoms and told me I needed to see a mental health doctor.

Very pushy and doesn't care about your opinion of treatment provided.

I have been going to Dr. Elkinson for 10 years and she is amazing! Very kind, courteous, and sympathetic. She goes above and beyond to make any worries or concerns I may have and makes me feel very comfortable. She also shows concern for me and my health as a whole and not just in her specialty. Her nurse Michelle is also amazing. Would definitely to anyone! My only complaint is it takes so long to get in there which is not ideal if you are having an immediate problem.

Dr. Elkinson is amazing. I recently had a baby girl at 34 weeks due to some pregnancy complications, Dr. Elkinson was honestly the best doctor I've ever had. She was kind and comforting and my daughter and I are living healthy and happy because of her and every decision she made for treatment in the hospital. I have so much respect and love and would definitely recommend her. She is our favorite Doctor in Lexington.

She took good care of me will be retuning for baby #3 I wish she would have delivered #1 she's amazing

Dr. Elkinson and her team are amazing! She makes me feel very comfortable, and I never feel silly bringing up any concerns, she takes everything seriously and truly empathizes with her patients.

Dr. Elkinson and her nurse Michelle are wonderful. She was amazing to me during my first pregnancy, which unfortunately ended in miscarriage. As sad as the situation was, I am so thankful that my husband and I chose Dr. Elkinson as our obgyn. She saw me through the toughest time of my life and treated me just like she was a friend to me. We plan on having more pregnancies in the future and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Dr. Elkinson is amazing at what she does and she is very caring. Recommend!!!

Dr. Elkinson is kind, professional and thorough. I never feel like I'm rushed and she and her staff always make me feel like I am their only patient. Dr. Elkinson diagnosed my condition and started a treatment plan to address. Other doctors had overlooked and as a result I went 3 years without treating, causing me pain and discomfort. She is the best!

Dr. Elkinson is the best! Always available to help.or answer any questions. Wonderful at making sure she is with you through your entire pregnancy. Highly recommended!
