Dr. Elizabeth Grethen, MD

She is great, listens, explains a plan of action but communicating with her or her staff after the appointment is impossible. It took her two months to answer my portal question. I need to get labs but Quest didn't get the order. I can't get anyone in her office to answer the portal or call me back! Frustrated beyond belief!

This doctor goes above and beyond to care for her patients. Even when dealing with staffing issues and other challenges within the medical system I can tell she cares a lot and wants the best health outcome for everyone she interacts with.

I thought the office staff were very nice and responsive. I liked Dr. Grethen and there was a lot to keep track of. I tried to take notes but forgot some of the details. When I went to the portal to view the notes from my visit I didn’t get answers to some of my questions. I left a message with Amber on Friday to clarify some info and also sent a message through the portal. My visit was on 10/19. I still have not heard back after leaving several voicemails on 10/20 and today, 10/23. So I have had difficulty communicating .

Dr. Grethen is phenomenal. She is always so thorough, kind, and knowledgeable. She takes time to explain issues in great detail. I have been seeing her for 8 years for my thyroid condition, and I will not see anyone else. Hands down the best doctor I have ever seen.

I think her soft approach in responding to questions..a very down to earth manner making the client feel note worthy of a response.. willingness to take time in answering questions..I like that when visiting a doctor

She took the necessary time to determine my insulin needs and ozempic to try to treat my insulin resistance.

Dr Grethen is very knowledgeable and offers directions into what she thinks will help but is not pushy. Let me think about my options which I like. She is very thorough and likes to be sure she is going down the right path for treatment, which in my case required lab work. I myself like that.

Dr. Grethen listened and answered my list of questions. She gave me great ideas of our to better understand and treat my diabetes. She has always been helpful, but this visit even more so.

Dr Gretchen explained things to me and helped to ease my mind about what is going on with me. She was encouraging and thorough in my exam and making certain that I understood her diagnosis.

Dr Grethen has been my doctor for 10 years as I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis. Through her my bone density has improved, my meds are carefully monitored, and she thinks through decisions with me regarding meds. She is just the best listener. She takes time. Never seems rushed. Very responsive when I use the patient portal. I wish all my doctors wre as good as she is

Discussed Libre 2 information. Dr. G happy with my progress. Discussed lab results-made determinations about 2 OTC drugs presently taking. Discussed problems with recurring OTI’s. Discussed 2 RX’s-decided to continue them until next visit in 4 months. Dr. G advised me to contact Urology of Indiana Dr. to give them go ahead for surgery regarding Vaginal Prolapse-make this a priority. Very thorough appointment with all my questions answered. Very pleased with my time spent with her.

Always gives each patient the necessary time needed per visit so she might be behind on appointment schedule. She's worth the wait! Big Celebration, my Diabetic Neuropathy in my Feet has been resolved... Nothing like feeling cold tile getting out of the shower through the soles of your feet again...
