Very rushed service
After long waits in her waiting room, she rushed through a routine eye exam in less than 8 minutes. I definitely had the impression that the main interest of this practice was cramming in as many patients as posssible.

Three members of my family started going to Dr. Farkas last year. We recently had our 2nd annual visit. Every person we encountered in the practice was welcoming, professional and informative. Dr. Farkas is extremely professional and kind. She was extremely thorough and answered all of our questions. Before the exam, she sat down and had a general “How’s life?” conversation … remembering my daughter had been married since my last visit. Dr. Farkas also caught an early stage diagnosis of what I’m sure the last ophthalmologist had not detected. Early detection & treatment is imperative and literally prendvents the progression of losing peripheral blindness and ultimately total blindness. Needless to say, we are grateful and will be referring others to Dr. Ellen. Dr. Farkas, is not only an outstanding physician of eyes, but also an excellent and meticulously skilled Ophthalmology surgeon who goes beyond. Her patients eye treatments and maintenance is her #1 priority. ??

I was a practicing family physician for over 50 years. My experiences with Dr F-F have been remarkable. She is of the old school of communicating and caring for each patient in a timely, thorough and unhurried manner. Her staff is excellent !! If only all of the doctors could find their way back to such an approach ... the independent physicians are projected to be reduced to only 10% of practicing physicians by 2020 ... the remaining will be employees, to perform as directed.

Recently had a head injury that resulted in altered vision. She was very kind, considerate, and knowledgable. She made sure to explain what was going on to me in a way that I understood and gave me her full attention during our entire visit.
