Dr. Ellen Kaplan, MD

The first time we saw Dr. Kaplan, she was rude, dismissive, and impatient toward both my son and me. Initially, I assumed she was having an off day and chose to give her grace. However, during our recent visit, her behavior was even more condescending and rushed. She repeatedly interrupted me, showing little interest in allowing me to finish my thoughts. Instead, she seemed overly focused on questioning my religious and personal decisions regarding my son.As I attempted to address these concerns with other staff members, Dr. Kaplan accused me of being non-compliant, a term that I found triggering especially given her interruptions and lack of space for my responses. This experience exposed an abuse of power by someone in a position of authority.

One of the most rude, interrupting person who had no consideration of what I was trying to explain. She is not only terrible but very indirect made no real recommendations. Do not go. As soon as they saw we have good coverage we were asked to take Bunch of necessary tests. Unfortunately she was the only one available and we made an appointment. I wish I read the bad reviews prior to going.do not take your child there.

Experience with Dr Regina Kaplan has been pleasant. However the Receptionist, BEATRICE, has been beyond rude, poor attitude, and insensitive to patients. Every single visit during pregnancy she was not client friendly. While in the waiting area, several other patients complained of how rude she was handling their check-in. No signs posted anywhere in the office, but she cancelled my appointment because baby was not allowed in the waiting room and I was alone with the baby. This should have been stated when appointment was made! This was my 1st post'partum appt which I really needed to see a doctor due to complications. BEATRICE rescheduled me for another week.

Very rude , no child friendly at all, doesn’t care about your concerns and is very mean and disrespectful. Leaves the room saying I’ll be back then sent it a nurse with instructions.

Terrible doctor doesn’t care about mothers input and has an overbearing attitude. All she wants to do is treat my child like a Medince machine always giving him meds on top of meds and it’s sickening to see a doctor have no regard of curing and helping him get off meds but instead using him as a cash cow just another kid with asthma (let her say it it really Severe asthma) and all she does is pile the child up on meds May God bless her when her time comes. She had no concern to hear me. Smh
