Saw him to be evaluated for POTS. His nurse was amazing and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable; but when the nurse left and Dr. Ellis Lader came in with a male medical student things went very downhill. 1. When he used the stethoscope to listen to my heartbeat, he put his hand completely down my shirt in between my breasts on my bare skin. I have never had a doctor go under my clothes in the way he did to obtain my heartbeat, ive even asked other doctors ive seen since then if that would be necessary and theyve all said no. When he did this, i asked why he needed to go under my clothes with it and he said he needed to to obtain a proper heartbeat, then i said 'Im not comfortable with this right now' but still he did not remove his hand. 2. He wrote in my chart tht my complaints were 'just my period' even though my symptoms are pots specific textbook pots symptoms & I had informed him that my symptoms are 24/7 365 days/year and NOT only when I have my period.

When you go for a nuclear stress test and has taken 2 weeks and still has not gotten back to you with the results. This is unacceptable for a doctor and a cardiologist none the less.

Dr. Lader was highly recommended by a trusted friend. After having seen him three times, I can confirm that he is an extraordinarily competent and capable cardiologist. His examinations are thorough and never feel rushed. He patiently answers all my questions and gives sound, balanced advice. I would recommend him without any reservations.

Dr. Lader and his staff are excellent. Dr. Lader addressed all my medical concerns; explained in detail the testing I was to undergo and the results afterward. He was very thorough and I never felt rushed. I was very nervous with one of the tests, but his staff was so understanding and compassionate and they made me feel so comfortable, I was able to get through the test with no problem. Would definitely recommend Dr. Ladder.
