Dr. Elsi Diaz, MD

I made an appointment in October, '23 for a Medicare physical, got an appointment for July 22 of '24 (I'm NOT a new patient). I've called 3 times to request an order for bloodwork prior to my appointment. Left message with her M.A. NO callback. Today I called again and was unable to connect. the message said to 'press 3' but when I did, I got 'we have not received a valid response.' That happened 9 times! I pressed other numbers and got the same reply. Her group's website, Northwest Allied Physicians does not list a phone number!

She did not understand what I was trying to tell her. She kept telling me she was confused. Ended up prescribing me 2 different medications and did not explain what they were for whatsoever. I looked them up and saw what they were for and was very confused. One of them is for muscle spasms. I don't get muscle spasms enough to be on medication. Did not listen to me on my actual reason as to why I had scheduled an appt.

I’ve seen many Doctors and will never suggest anyone see her. Ordered tests I declined that had nothing to do with my visit. Didn’t treat or discuss my symptoms I had going in.

I thought she was awful! She did not listen to me and did not take my medical history seriously. She seem to think that she knew better than all of my previous positions and I left there feeling very bewildered, angry and dismissed.

Loved Dr. Diaz, she was warm and efficient. She gave me options and is helping resolve health issues which other providers just dismissed.

Dr. Diaz listens & cares. She is my idea of a super primary care physician. Very intuitive & works with the whole person not just parts of the body. Highly recommend!

I went to her for a physical and to establish her as my new physician. She is detailed, which I like. An example she was asking why I take multiple supplements. We talked about it & she provided me with examples from research. She is knowledgeable, listens, & professional. I was nervous going to her because I was always with my old Physican for years until she moved. I only seen her once but I think I’m going to keep going to her.

Dr Diaz made me feel like she really cared and listened to my concerns. I only wish her office wasn’t moving

Dr. Diaz is a down to earth, humble, understanding, attentive, and professional person. Normally I feel intimidated by most Doctors, but Dr. Diaz made me feel like at home. I was able to open up to her with my health issues, and never once did I feel rushed out. Dr. Diaz gave me the proper diagnosis and was attentive with my results the whole way through. I finally found THE best Doctor; however, I was saddened to hear she will be relocating to Tucson area, hopefully I’ll get a good recommendation from Dr. Diaz in the Sahuarita location (that’s just like her) Thank you, Dr. Diaz, and well wishes on your new ventures.
