Would not recomend
Dr. Alvarez was rude and dismissive of my questions/concerns/pain. I asked to sit down and discuss different types of birth control options, which is a simple request for a medical appointment. She laughed when I raised a concern about the pain of an IUD, didn't answer any of my other questions, and rushed the appointment to be over. She also didn't provide any medical advice - I had to probe every point she made and ask why medically this or that was important and she provided short answers that basically were just "because I said so". I will not be returning and encourage others with sensitivity around medical exams not to see this particular doctor. Would be 0 stars if possible

Invoiced multiple times
The one star is because they keep on invoicing me multiple times after I paid my bill. I was seen in April and received the invoice in June, I paid and received again in July for double the amount. If it wasn't for this issue, she would have been my regular obgyn because she seems to know what she is doing.

Where is she?
I received an outrageous bill following a pap test in April. Now all her numbers are disconnected. I saw her at 55 Greene Ave. Bklyn.

She's been my GYN since I was 16 she is careful and I've followed her to all her clinics. She's helped me with high risk pregnancies and issues before conceiving. She's great.

She damaged my bladder during surgery and cover it up. Now i have bladder issues never had a problem till my surgery when my bladder got caught. I will never recommend anyone to her. I lost my job cause of my injury she cause to my bladder.

Excellent doctor. Granted, I've thankfully have had no issues with my health. Just a lot of prescription refills and regular check ups. She does not milk insurance with unnecessary test. She is kind and easy to talk to. She left the original facility I was originally going to and I followed her to the other office. That's how comfortable I have become with her. You will be in good hands if you are deciding whether or not to go to her.
