Awful
In October of 2023 my husband went to go see Dr. Kernis for what he thought were anxiety issues. He explained to her that his brain felt like it was racing and he felt very anxious. Dr. Kernis told him to just lay down and take some deep breaths for a few minutes. Two days later he ended up in a psychiatric ER for a manic episode and then in an inpatient facility for 2 weeks. Since this was his first episode I didn’t know all the signs, but the doctor should have seen red flags. I was not contacted as his emergency contact, and she never followed up. When I called to complain a week later they had no answer for me. Terrible doctor who clearly doesn’t care deeply for her patients.

My experience has easily been the WORST cust svc in my lifetime. I waited 1 1/2 hours in an nearly empty waiting room just to be seen for my well visit, and she said I was not scheduled in her system for a well visit. I explained that I was an established pt at the office who was new to her, and that this was just my annual visit so I can get my script for routine labs and satisfy my job's req for an annual well visit. She then proceeded to do the most rushed and weird visit I've ever had and told me to follow up with a telehealth visit after my lab results were back. I got my bloodwork, and to my surprise received a bill for all my expenses to be out of pocket. She is saying I was there for a medical issue so my ins won't cover it like a well visit. Took me OVER 4 MONTHS to even get a resp from her office after dozens of calls and emails, and she still will not fix codes. Ins won't pay lab either b/c of coding, so I am out over $200 and can't get a mammo b/c i would have to pay

Dr Kerns is very nice. Did take her time. However, what I find being in a practice is once they cancel your appointment. You have to wait a month for another one. If you get sick you can't get to your Dr. Some other Dr has to call you. Which I find very disturbing. What is the point of having particular Dr and you can't get in to see that Dr if you are sick. That set up I don't like and I'm deciding whether to return . Even though I like Dr Kernis. Not use to this method.

This was by far one of the worst doctors I have ever seen. No care to ask about my family history, clearly didn’t want to participate in any way to help me. I would never recommend nor see her again.

Great Dr! Took her time to go over all my issues and really started a plan to get me back on track without judging me. I think it is so important when a dr talks to me not at me.

I never had a Doctor put so much effort in making me feel better. Rather then just send me to the ER, she took time to treat my symptoms in her office. Very professional, knowledgeable and caring. I only waited a few minutes to be seen, which is a rare.
