Dr. Emanuele Lo Menzo, MD

My experience with Dr. Lo Menzo was wonderful. He is a very thorough doctor. He explains everything. Dr. Lo Menzo is caring and I felt very safe. I highly recommend him.

Great experience with Dr. Lo Menzo and Cleveland clinic in general. I love this hospital. Dr. Lo Menzo operated on me and I recovered quickly. He gave me specific instructions, was very encouraging about the surgery and very kind. He is a great doctor.

My husband to have surgery but was considered non emergency from ER so was a struggle to find a doctor. it took almost 2 months to get an appointment at Cleveland with Lo Menzo and was in terrible pain. The appointment was on a Monday and his assistant called friday at 6 p.m. to leave weird voicemail to move the appointment time from afternoon to like 8 a.m. I had already had to get child care and everything but couldn't get at this new earlier time. There was no way to call back to speak to anyone. I was so upset also was worried if they would just randomly move the times on me could i rely on getting surgery. So I call that morning and they say ok I can get you in in two weeks and gave a date certain. I called to confirm the appointment after two weeks and they said - no appointment is on the books. Nasty experience while suffering and such attitude. Ironically going to Jackson Memorial was way faster and so much nicer than staff. Cleveland clinic the staff are beyond awful, rude,

Dr. Lo Menzo is very kind, humble, and thorough. He doesn't make you feel rushed and listens to you. I feel at ease in his presence. I highly recommend Dr. LoMenzo. He did an excellent job removing my lower abdominal infected hernia mesh last year. I intend to keep him as my general surgeon.

Completely butchered my leg. I didn't know he was a bariatric surgeon at the time that he took my case. Why he didn't send me to oncology and hoarded my case for himself will be my question for life. Didn't follow standards of care and procedures for proper lump removal. Made me wait months while cancer was growing inside of me. His staff was rude and fought me on the phone when I called for help. I'm now terribly disfigured and walk with a limp forever. I suffered severe consequences and all I can do is leave reviews to warn others. Use a different doctor.

A wonderful doctor

I’m a recent patient of Dr. LoMenzo for gallbladder removal. I found him to be very skilled knowledgeable and compassionate with his patients. I’m very scared of surgery and he was very reassuring.

Dr. LoMenzo operated on me when he was at University of Maryland in 2011. He is an expertly skilled surgeon. He was the only doctor I could find that was willing to operate on my ventral hernia laparoscopically. It was quite large and he handled it flawlessly. Truly the best surgeon I’ve ever had and I have had four other surgeries for different things. He listens well and is very caring. I would highly recommend him. It’s extremely hard to find a doctor with his expertise & surgical knowledge

Dr. Lo Menzo: is an outstanding surgeon, in my personal experience I found a combination difficult to find nowadays, experience, expertise, outstanding knowledge and compassion for his patients. He is the person that you want to find when you are looking for somebody willing to give you the confident to stand through any surgeries pathways. He has the capacity to listen you patiently and answer all your concerned about your procedure before your surgery and after surgery and during your recover.

Dr. Lo Menzo is a fabulous and thorough Dr. He saw me for an umbilical hernia but addressed another issue I had out of his field. He was out of the office due to emergency surgeries so once of his fellows called me with the results of my test. Dr. Lo Menzo took the time to call me even after he knew I was already given my results and follow up with me again to make sure all of my questions were answered and I was comfortable with the information provided. What a fabulous physician!!
