Dr. Talag is Great, I Recommend Her
Telehealth
I have been seeing Dr. Talag for over 3 years and have enjoyed my sessions with her. She has always allowed me to explain how I was feeling with each change in dosages and I felt like we were collaborating on my healthcare. I felt heard, understood, and like an active participant in my healthcare. Outside of Dr. Talag, I recommend being mindful that she is part of an HMO style medical group that requires understanding the 'system'. Sometimes the office staff can be more direct and a reminder that the system can be complicated. Though, if you understand the system, or simply asking the staff where you can find the next answer, navigating Kaiser has been the easiest across any medical group I have been to.My only reason for not continuing care with Dr. Talag is because I have changed insurance. If I ever have the chance, I hope to work with Dr. Talag again.

I was worried about seeing her after I saw the other reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. She was very thorough and listened to me, asked a lot of questions and was responsive to my concerns. She even referred me for TMS an alternative to medication. I felt relieved and happy to find her at Kaiser after sub-par experiences with two other psychiatrists. Excellent care by Dr. Talag.

I have seen Dr. Talag for over a year. I mean NO disrespect but she is the typical western, standard, ordinary psychiatrist. She offers little to no profound wisdom. Dr. Talag is not worse than, but certainly not of a higher caliber than the typically American schooled psychiatrist. Her profile states she specializes in pediatric\adolescent psychiatry; then she ought stick to treating children, because she is unskilled in effectively comprehending the complexities of the childlike adult psyche. It seems as this aspect of psychiatry is nowhere within her scope of interest. Im not surprised. Im not let down. It's what I have come to expect from these highly trained, learned, Medical and Behavioral Physicians. I also would like to see Psychiatrists more involved in the Psychotherapy part of their practice; not just the prescribing of candy anti psychotics. Not all of us Borderlines need meds.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Talag for 4 months now. She listens. After seeing Dr Ngotran for two years I knew it was time to change her( she only prescribed anti depressants and I told her they did not make me feel good. Dr. Talag never pushed anti depressants on me and for that I respect her. Our first meeting she asked about all my medications and what worked best for me. I am thankful for her.

WORST PSYCHIATRIST EVER. I agree with last review because I also feel like I’m being treated as something less than a person, it’s like she’s reading from a script and just going through the motions to get me out the door as fast as possible.

Actually seeing her is nearly impossible since the rare occurrence that an appointment is available she usually ends up calling out sick for it. I also feel as though I’m not treated as an actual person needing a psychiatrist but more like another case that needs to be dealt with and pushed out the door as quick as possible
