I was so fortunate to have Dr Donelan delivery my baby at Northwestern recently. I can't say enough good things about my experience with her. I ended up having a complicated birth that included an infection and an emergency forceps delivery. Throughout the entire experience, Dr Donelan remained incredibly calm and kept us fully informed on the situation every step of the way. She throughly explained what was going on, what our options were, and the risks and benefits involved. She was not afraid to confidently recommend the best course of action for the safety of me and my baby, while always making us feel like we had a choice. She was confident that forceps was the best and safest option and that she could execute that delivery safely. She was right and did an amazing job. I am so thankful that I had Dr Donelan and appreciate everything her and her team did for me and my family.

I've never had such a bad experience w any doctor. Emily was condescending & did not fully listen to or take my concerns seriously. Her video profile states she treats women who are experiencing very specific symptoms, symptoms I was having & the reason I went to see her. Yet she stated during the visit that she does not know what could cause the symptoms I was having. And she didn't do an exam to try to help or find out. Made an appt w a different dr who did an exam same day & was able to help.
