I have been with this physician’s office for quite a while but I generally saw the NP as Dr. Pharr was “always booked up”. I am so grateful for how much I appreciated this NP before she passed away. When reaching out to Dr. Pharr in the past, to discuss treatment plan, I experienced extreme difficulty getting a response to my medical questions and treatment. If you prefer a physician to respond within a day, at the latest two days, concerning health concerns and medications, then this is not the physician for you. Very disappointed.

As her patient, I will tell you Dr. Pharr is not only extremely competent, she has an exceptional bedside manner. Her devotion, knowledge and empathy are unmatched. She explains everything in an easy to understand manner. She truly listens and is respectful of her patients and their needs....surprisingly many other Drs, Nurses and PAs don't care - probably due to being overworked and a screwed up health care system. She is a patient advocate and a leader among her peers. Wake Forest is very lucky to have her.

After a 15 month wait to see her, she was beyond disappointing. She breezily dismissed 20 years of doctors notes and treatments to “rediagnose” my disease. They’re are much more knowledgeable and accessible neurologists out there. Don’t bother with this one.

Great Dr. and great practice to work with. Specializes in treating patients with Multiple Sclerosis. When you have MS and you have an issue, you need to be able to communicate with your doctors office quickly. Dr. Pharr’s office uses a patient portal and you are able to send a message and usually get a response the same day. She is a very caring, kind , she listens and answers all your questions, she gives thorough examinations and has a well trained staff. She is a top notch doctor.
