Dr. Emily Sabato, DO

Dr sabato was the friendliest nicest and most gentle OBGYN I've ever had. She put me right at ease even though I was extremely anxious and terrified. I did not want to get a pap smear done but because of how wonderful she was I went through with it and it was the least traumatic one I've ever had. Thank you so much for taking such good care of your patients!

Dr Sabato has been my OB for the past 2 years and through the recent birth of it son. She has been an incredible partner throughout my journey which included 2 losses and a semi-complicated pregnancy. She and her team truly care about each patient and make a concerted effort to stay in close communication and to explain all procedures and results thoroughly. I can’t recommend this practice enough - you are in great hands.

At first she seems great until you realize she thinks people who aren’t rich or even middle class deserve every condition and outcome they have. She doesn’t listen. If you go to the Roxborough location beware she and every other staff there think they’re doing “God’s work,” or something, and treat people like they’re degenerates. It’s like a Planned Parenthood (even though it’s Mainline Health) in a rundown shopping center in Roxborough. The staff is aloof and seems to think they’re doing charity work out of this location as many of them work out of the more prestigious location on the main line. Emily likes to help but she also makes decisions off assumptions about people from lower economic classes that waste time. It’s as if this location opened as a predatory endeavor to capture what MLH would consider to be a lot of planned parenthood cases. Staff here act like they’re going into the wild saving the lives of the poor with a “don’t bite the hand that feeds you” mentality. Beware.

Dr. Sabato is wonderful! She's been so kind and caring in helping me find the right birth control (I had an abysmal reaction to one method), and really takes time to listen to my concerns and genuinely understand my history and needs. She's exceptionally knowledgeable as well. It's such a relief to have a GYN with such an empathetic bedside manner.

Dr. Fenimore is such a sweet lady & she is very efficient at what she does. I am a soo 2b mommy and I have my concerns & she seems to be very aware and considerate of my feelings. I also HATE pap smears & OMG she has made my experience very very comfortable after I informed her that pap smears are very uncomfortable 4me. I have nvr felt more comfortable with any other Dr. b4. She seems 2b very helpful &so far she has f/u with me in >24hrs with my concerns via phone which I appreciate a lot??
