Dr. Emily Worthington, DO

Dr. Worthington could not diagnose my father's strained ab muscle from trying to catch himself from falling and straining to get up for 1/2 hour. Thought it was gastro related or bowel issue even though x-ray and CT scan showed no issues. Refused to provide pharmacy with prescription info from his oncologist because Dad didn't want to stay another day for more blood tests that could be done at his dr's office. My Dad is 92 with brain tumor. She upset him so badly. Wouldn't return my 3 calls.

I had spent 2 weeks in the hospital and I had a plan towards discharge that included 2 minor surgical procedures. The plan was made with 3 doctors and one who is a hospitalist in the same group as Dr. Worthington. I had been treated with nothing but respect, I was given, a voice, listened to, for 12 days and then Dr Worthington came in and came in like she was being timed and had to be out in under 5 minutes. I tried to explain something and she didn't like it and just walked out of my room.

Well I have to wonder about her skill set as a doctor when she manages to make a determination of the level of pain that her patient is in without ever laying a hand on them, much less an eye. Left me curled up in a ball almost in tears all night, and the reasoning? After being admitted to the hospital for abdominal pain because my home medications were not controlling it, "I don't have any medical indication for changing his pain medication." Didn't know there was a lab test for pain level.
