We have been going to Dr Desai for 20+ yrs. We have found him to be a top notch Dr. He's very articulate, compassionate, & intelligent Dr. We find it a plus that he's a Christian. Never pushy. He saved my mom's life several times. He took care of her 10.5 yrs. She lived to be 99. So thankful for his expertise. The only complaint in all these years is sometimes his new office attendants could be a little more trained. Some young & new & when fast paced seem confused. But Dr Desai is the Best! Never met a person that didn't like him!

I went to this office on 2 different occasions. Both times, I spent about 5 minutes w/ an assistant to go over the reason for my visit. On my very first appt, Dr. Desai came in, sat down long enough to say "Hi, how are you? we are going to prescribe *** for ***, you dont need *** because of this reason, and you can buy this med at the store. thank you" stands up and walks out. 2nd appt, met w/ a different assistant who was in training. Same thing, spent about 5 minutes w/ me and was very sweet. Dr. Desai comes in, sits down long enough to tell me what he's prescribing, stands up to walk out. I stop him and say "is that like ***, because ive done that before and it hasnt helped". he repeats what he is prescribing and says "it will help. have a nice day" and walked out. I even stopped the asst and asked her if it was normal for him to do that, because i'm basically heavily relying on how they translate to him my needs because he is taking no time to get to know me himself.

ER visit , he explained my issues and spend time with me going over different scenarios and plan of care. Very patiently answering the multiple Questions I had regarding my situation. I highly recommend this Doctor, and he even prayed with me without hesitation. May he continue to heal others as God wants and give all his patients the peace and comfort they need.

Writing this review for my Grandmother. This man is awful. Grandmother complaining of chest pains, shortness of breath, and anxiety. We requested to see a cardiologist. He insists that all she needs are some pills. We have tests done, turns out she has a blockage. We request to see a cardiologist again, he still insists that all she needs are *different* pills. He also screwed up hormone prescriptions for my wife's grandmother, insisting that his specialty in internal medicine qualified him. No.

Best doctor I have ever been to. Will spend as must time with you as necessary. A real gem!

Dr. Desai has been my primary care physician for over 30 yrs now. There have been numerous bumps in the road along that journey but he has always been there and has been supportive of my other Drs by adding his expertise to the mix. I have to to say, "Dr. Desai is truly a blessing." He is a very knowledgable, concerned, compassionate, and caring CHRISTIAN Dr. that will go the extra mile for your comfort and well being. I don't think you will find a better Dr. Anywhere.

After seeing 3 other doctors for an unknown chronic sickness that spanned over several months and they weren't able to diagnose I had almost given up hope. When I saw Dr. Desai he was so compassionate and encouraging. He told me we would figure out what was going on and he did. I finally have a diagnosis. Every time I go in for my check-ups he gives me time and hears all of my concerns. He listens. His bedside manner is one other doctors should emulate. I am so thankful for him!

Ignored my pain and opted to start me on blood pressure medication. Nurse told me I was "a walking time bomb". As it turned out I was in the middle of passing a kidney stone...yea, my blood pressure was high...I was in pain. Totally ignored the fact there was blood in my urine as well. This was more than 2 years ago, so no visits will show on this review. Can't believe he is still practicing.

Very patient and thoughtful doctor with years of experience. Very warm bedside manner. I am a doctor myself and am very careful to whom I go for my blood pressure care and I found Dr Desai to be the best!
