I went to Dr. Bedia because I was having menstrual issues. I expressed that I didn’t want to get a iud or be on the pill and he REALLY tried to sell it to me. When I stood my ground on not being on birth control, he got frustrated and told me that I probably won’t be able to have children on my own and will have to go through IVF. I’m happy to say that I am now pregnant. I don’t recommend Dr. Bedia to anyone.

I love doctor Bedia. I have only lived in Iowa for 4 years and prior to moving here I had an horrible experience with a different doctor. That is when I found Dr. Bedia. I would not trade him for nothing in the world. He has always taken his time with me and been extremely helpful... I’m devastated because my insurance has changed and I’m not able to see him any more.

I was happy for the 1st maybe 2nd visit...but it seemed like it went down hill from there. He was nice and cordial but the whole time and to the surgury time it seemed like it was off. He seemed detached no concerned, rushed, and I was just a number money. I know doctors can be busy but seriously take the time to be heartfelt for your patient. When you patient tells you they will need to stay overnight or at least 23 hours, listen. If your patient says that she would like to know what's going on, listen. The patient tells you do not tell a loved one anything because they will not listen and take it in, so obviously if the patient is out of it they do not know what to really hear. Maybe come in and see how they are doing after recovery. Also when they come in for pain domt tell them that you had a major surgery with no pain pills everyone is different. I about walked out of the hospital because i wasnt comfortable In the situation and being wheeled into surgury isn't good.

I’ve seen Dr Bedia off & on for 11 years. He is the BEST doctor I’ve ever met. He truly cares about me & my concerns. I never feel rushed when I see him. He’s successfully handled unique medical concerns with my pregnancies & now pre-menopausal. He is a doctor I trust 100% with my life (and my unborn child).

Dr. Bedia is a rare find in a physician these days in that he is genuinely concerned about your issues and always takes time to answer your questions or discuss any concerns you may have about treatment options. I trust him and have sent my daughters to him as well...that's how much we love Dr. Bedia!!

By far the best Ob/Gyn physician in Des Moines, Dr. Bedia is thorough, honest, caring, and, most importantly, he is one of the most accomplished (certified ) doctors in the area. So much of visiting a physician is the interaction with staff -- techs, nurses, PAs -- and this practice has one of the most professional and congenial staffs I have encountered. They also have "twilight" service, so one can go under anesthesia for certain procedures for the price of a Copay. Amazing.

I switched to him two years ago, he is great! Super quick to get to you and friendly! Seems to really care about patients. Only flaw is in support staff, seems like they could care less (same nurse both visits) she was very dry and cold. Other note his calendar isfar out so schedule right away!

I saw Dr. Bedia after having pain in lower pelvic area on the right for some time. Dr. Bedia diagnosed multiple complex ovarian cysts on R ovary, L ovary has been absorbed by my body. Since I had emergency hysterectomy at 20yo due to complications from childbirth, all I have left are my ovaries. Menopause hit at 45yo. Bedia is keeping a close eye on the complex cysts because of high probability for cancer. He is also helping a great deal with HRT to control menopausal symptoms. I trust him.

I saw him several times and he gave me a c-section. He is incredibly intellegent and loves to learn. I think he is probably one of the most knowledgeable and trained doctors in his OB group. He does sometimes say things that are a little rude. He was saying I was old in a "funny" way. I was 36/37. He has an odd since of humor but is very good at what he does. I would go back to him.
