Dr. Eric Angermeier, MD

I like Dr. Angermeier. He’s straightforward and honest with patients. He gave me his opinions and told me what to expect. And I did what he suggested and everything went just as he said. Awesome.

From my initial phone call, through surgery and follow up, every encounter with every staff person and Dr. Angermeier was perfect. If I could give 10 stars, I would!! Professional, friendly, knowledgeable - just a few well deserved adjectives! AND my hand is great!!!!!

I have been having pain in my hands for some time, thought maybe it was just old age and regular old arthritis. Dr angermeier took the time to explain what was wrong, treatment options, all while taking my preferences into account. I've never been so happy to be diagnosed with something. At least now I have treatment options available.

Dr. Angermeier has the best "bedside manner" I've possibly ever encountered. He is also an expert in all aspects of the hand and it's problems. I have been treated by him in the past and will continue to see him for any problems involving my hands. The staff are also very friendly and professional.

Have had issues with my wrist and hand for the last two years after a distal radial fracture. I was blown away by the incredible compassion and wealth of knowledge of Dr. Angermeier. Having seen several orthopedic hand surgeons, always being told there was nothing wrong and therefore nothing they could fix. Now for the first time in two years there is actually a light at the end of a tunnel that never existed before. He was able to very quickly see what the problem was make an informed diagnosis and proposed a plan going forward to increase use, mobility of my left hand while decreasing my constant pain. He was clear in his discussion of the risks of future surgery with both pros and cons. He has given me hope where there has been none. I would highly recommend the hand Institute of Charleston!
