very brief, rushed and not informative

Dr. Gessler listens, gets to the root of the problem and clearly explains everything

Dr. Eric Gessler made an observation that saved me from a miserable life. I visited him for nasal polyps, and on one of my scans, outside the area of primary concern to him, he noticed a deformation of the sella turcica (bone around the pituitary gland). Also at this time, eye doctors were misdiagnosing a fading eyesight condition as macular degeneration. Long story short, I had polyp AND pituitary adenoma removal surgery by Drs. Lam and Singh in Norfolk. Everything returned to normal. Without prompt action spurred by Dr. Gessler, I'd be blind or worse. Years later, when a breathing restriction problem returned, Dr. Gessler used his surgical skills to reduce the size of my inferior turbinates - back to normal once again.

Excellent practitioner. Straightforward, takes time, excellent surgeon, great bedside manner. As a stage four survivor I have met with my fair share of docs, this one is a good one.

Dr Gressler is an amazing doctor, very professional and cares for his patients and clients. His professionalism exceeds the standards and he listens and understands his patients needs. His staff is awesome! Great team. Thank you Sir

I went to see Dr. Gessler about my sons recurrent ear infections. It’s a shame to see posts about the front desk staff when this review is supposed to be about Dr. Gessler and NOT the staff. I had a wonderful visit with Dr. Gessler and he immediately put me at ease about my sons surgery. I left feeling confident with the upcoming procedure.

Easy to get in the day I'd like for an appt. Front desk is always helpful on the phone. Though I personally haven't had any issues with the receptionists, I believe the could improve on there people skills a bit with others. I work with customer service and I do understand that some situations can be "trying", but a happy, helpful, smiling attitude is always the best way to go for the best experience! As for Dr Gessler, he's been everything I hoped for in an ENT. Easy to talk with and understand and he trys to be as helpful as he can. I would recommend him to anyone. I got ear tubes put in and the surgical unit was awesome as well.

I was getting chronic sinus infections that wouldn’t go away, no matter how many rounds of antibiotics. Dr. Gessler suggested sinus surgery and he did an excellent job of explaining exactly how it would go. Dr. Gessler’s bedside manner in the office and at the surgery center was amazing. At no point did I feel I didn’t understand what was going on or what the next step was. I see poor ratings for other staff of this office, which I don’t understand. The ladies at the front desk have been great.

Dr Gessler has a wonderful personality and really takes his time listening to concerns, explaining his thought process, and making even the little patients (my son is 5) feel important. His staff at the front desk was helpful, understanding, and kind as well. I highly recommend Dr Gessler because he is phenomenal!

Horrible front desk service. Didn't have my physical health insurance card. Couldn't be seen. No wiggle room at all. I haven't carrtied my card in years. I just give my numbers. Nope. Not here. Lady closed sliding glass door. See ya!

Dr. Gessler listened to me, and really thought through as to what could be the cause of my issues. He did not rush through my appointment and had an awesome "bed side manor".. We discussed my choices and I felt like he took my concerns seriously. I have a list of other things I need to see him for, and I would definitely recommend Dr. Gessler to my friends and family.

Dr Gessler was fine, but I will never step foot in his office again due to the front office staff. They are condescending and lack any sort of kindness or concern for any patient I observed walk in during the hour and a half that I waited to be seen. I have never seen such rudeness that I watched from those two women to so many elderly patients. I was appalled. Women like that should not be in any kind of profession involving the public, much less sick patients.

Really wonderful physician who listened. Great 'bedside' manner, courteous, kind, and explained what he was going to do. Follow ups just as concerned and caring as the first visit. Highly recommend Dr. Gessler.

Excellent character and charisma,I was comfortable the whole time with him.I had a surgery which was pleasant and as smooth as silk.Truly appreciated Mr.Gesslers or should I say Dr.Gesslers care into providing a quick and painless surgery for me and being as prompt and punctual as possible.I would reccomend him to anyone who is lucky enough to come across this man.Even though he his busy,he makes time for his patients individual needs and cares about them and remembers them.
